Roadies are people who travel with bands too, yeah, but to set up stage and make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. It's actually pretty frowned upon to be a roadie involved with any of the band since it's a working relationship even if more casual than professional sometimes. I can't say the lines never get crossed between roadie and groupie, but-! I was always just a roadie myself.
