Apparently knowledge of that is more sensitive than he'd been lead to believe, which means Harold immediately and tacitly agrees the best strategy is to discourage people from accessing it at all. With that much extreme adversity, how did you all make the trip? You seem to be indicating you are not human.
Some of what you reported is very odd, to say the least. 100 floors might sound significant for a building, but 750 - 1,200 feet deep should not be sufficient to cause gravitational effects unless this planet is extremely small.
[ He also wonders if it's worth a trip to the 8th floor (or rather, John making a trip) to try to recover some of the alien technology mentioned, but one thing at a time. ]
