( things had been rather rough for heather the last couple of days [really the entirety of her life], with big emotions and fears being brought up to her by vincent again. it was hard to face such things alone and while she had made a considerable effort to be friendly with others here, she just felt like something else could be done to chase away the sadness that seemed to loom over her.

so today, for a change, she appears on the network in the most festive clothing she could find with an energy only the sun could match. )

Hey guys and gals, I'm Heather Mason if we haven't met yet. This place has been kinda down lately, hasn't it? So I have a proposition for anyone looking to have a good time.

( she paused for a moment to bring forth a noise maker, blowing on it before continuing on. )

I'm going to be throwing a fun little party at my apartment next Friday, and if you rock out too hard, you're welcomed to sleepover. Bring whatever you want to make this a blast, but I've got the music covered!

( with a flip of her hand against her short blonde locks, she gave a wink at the camera. )

Be here or be square, and if you don't want to come because you're lame, I'm taking donations!

Well it hasn't been that long. I'm not quite grandma status just yet.

Anything you need. Is it a casual party with mostly snacks or are you looking to have a potluck too?

( she smiles at towards her, rubbing the back of her head rather sheepishly.

it would probably benefit her not to antagonize potential guests, right? )

Honestly anything you can think of would be appreciated. I went around looking for stuff and I managed to scape together a boombox and found some CDs. I can try and get drinks too but real food would be appreciated.

[Lois is quick to laugh and wave a hand dismissively.]

I'm just kidding, don't worry. I think we might be close enough in age? Maybe? I'm twenty-three.

[Then her smile widens!]

Perfect! I've been itching to cook something ever since that cooking contest. I'll see if I can bring some drinks too.

You're about six years older than me, so not too far off.

( although if she did the math, she was technically far older in spirit than her current body. different place, different time. for now heather smiles back just as brightly, before laughing. )

Oh hey, you were there too? As long as your food doesn't turn into soup, anything is welcomed. Do you think you'll want to sleepover too?

Who wouldn't want to sleepover? Good music, good food, good company? Count me in.

[Then she snorts.]

No soup but the eggs screamed a lot. Really killed the cooking mood. Bet the soup didn't help much either.

And that endless amount of kittens? What the heck happened to them anyways?
