( things had been rather rough for heather the last couple of days [really the entirety of her life], with big emotions and fears being brought up to her by vincent again. it was hard to face such things alone and while she had made a considerable effort to be friendly with others here, she just felt like something else could be done to chase away the sadness that seemed to loom over her.

so today, for a change, she appears on the network in the most festive clothing she could find with an energy only the sun could match. )

Hey guys and gals, I'm Heather Mason if we haven't met yet. This place has been kinda down lately, hasn't it? So I have a proposition for anyone looking to have a good time.

( she paused for a moment to bring forth a noise maker, blowing on it before continuing on. )

I'm going to be throwing a fun little party at my apartment next Friday, and if you rock out too hard, you're welcomed to sleepover. Bring whatever you want to make this a blast, but I've got the music covered!

( with a flip of her hand against her short blonde locks, she gave a wink at the camera. )

A party?

[ Doubt. Rin's been pissed off with Echo and Aurora for throwing distraction after distraction at them lately, and this seems like even more of that.

Then again, it's important to keep up morale. And it's different if it's something they, the people who were pulled here against their will, do.

Also, a part of Rin is simply curious. She hasn't really ever been to a party -- at least probably not the kind Heather is proposing. ]

Uhm, what happens at a party?

[ Well, of course he's got to support (a friend's???) Heather's party night, and so Gorgug's here with a video...

Which contains the magic engineer with a paper crown on his head around a festive red hat (along with his goggles on underneath all that), a smudge of some kind of oil on his cheeks (a metal lab can be seen in the background), and his own noise maker makin' that noise right away.

And then he slips on a pair of shutter shades while removing the noise maker from his mouth to coolly (""coolly"") say: ]

There's no party like a Heather party. [ Pause. ] ...on the day she decides it.

Sounds fun to me! I haven't been to a party in ... since college I guess?

Will there be macaroni? Preferably with bacon?

Music is fine, but what's a party without booze?

[ When he parties with his friends, it's usually a race to see who can get drunk the quickest. ]

Why would you have rocks at a party?

[ He sounds curious, but not overly interested. ]

What kind of donations do you need?

[ Heather isn't wrong that it's been kind of... glum. Rosie understands why, of course, but also wasn't in the place to try and motivate people like she usually might. So, she's happy to help Heather do it instead. ]

Well, if you don't mind, I can bring the live entertainment with my new guitar.

Also, let me know if I need to get a pet sitter for Smokey or if he can join in the fun.
