[It's taken Cassandra a bit to send this message. She hadn't wanted to. She hadn't wanted to believe it. Had searched high and low to confirm that what she feared was true. Yelena is gone. And she owes it to her friend to let those who might have known her, might have cared about her, too, know about her disappearance.]
I wanted to let everyone know that Yelena Belova has
[Left. Gone home. Back to whatever is waiting for her in her world. Gone SOMEwhere, anyway. And Cassandra is devastated. Yelena is... WAS... is, family. One of the only people she trusted, and the only person she'd trusted with her past. She's never been so glad for the text feature, because she doesn't think she could do this without breaking down, otherwise. She can type while fighting back tears.]
She's gone.
[And now she's going to find somewhere high up and out of the way to sit. And mourn the loss of yet another person she cares about. (Yelena is still alive, but it feels the same. It feels just as heartbreaking.)]

[ That's it, at first. Rosie knew people could come and go so easily, of course, but that's... another person she'd known now gone. While only casual friends, she'd say, she was still beginning to consider people friends and Yelena was part of that. ]
i'm really sorry
do you want some company, or
i get it
sometimes, it's easier to be alone in times like these

I'm sorry for your loss.
[ He's still pretty new here, so he's not entirely sure what 'gone' means. ]

I just. Need a little time.
[She tries to keep her grieving hidden. Keep it to herself.]

I think she just. Went back? Went home. But we don't know for certain. She thought that we did. Thought that her sister had, when Natasha left the city.
It still feels like a loss. [That is more of a confession than she meant to make, but the words have been typed and she cannot take them back.]
I hope she's safe.

On a rooftop in Nova City.
I can meet you somewhere, though.
[She wouldn't leave the rooftops for just anyway.]
