at least enough to sway any suspicions inara might have of her. )
living again? I didn't realize this place brought people back from the dead.

There's no sense getting into that with a stranger.]
It can. I'm not sure how common it is, though. It's a strange thing to think about.

did it hurt? being brought back to life? I apologize if my questions are intrusive but...the more we can learn about this world, the better our odds are.
no subject
I didn't regret it, at the time. I might regret it now? I'm not certain. I don't exactly want it to happen again.
no subject
but are you alright now then? I'm sure it won't happen again, hopefully.

[She thinks. It's rather strange.]
Being here has meant I'm focused on other things, so it's not so bad.
no subject
the first time you were alive?
no subject
I have a second chance. I'm not certain what to do with it yet.

if there's anyway I can assist, please don't hesitate to call upon me. I'm inara serra, a pleasure.

I am Claudia Wolf.
[She really doesn't know what to make of how easily people approach her. It's such a strange feeling.]

are you alone here in etraya?
( as in no one else from her world is here, much like with inara. )
no subject
Are you the only one from your world?

When you say living again, do you mean it literally? If so, I'm very curious to know more.
no subject
I was dead before I woke up in Aphaia in April.
no subject
How are you settling in? And doing, obviously.
[The Jedi in her all over, that last.]
no subject
I've been settling in well enough.
Have you seen the giant birds? They're called chocobos. They're quite sweet, so long as you don't get near the red one.
no subject
And smell way worse.

Kind of like that crossed with a possum and meant for cold weather. Oh, with little curly horns on their brows and the most unbelievable stink even in the blasting cold.
But also the best way to get around snow planets, so they tend to turn up a lot of places.
no subject
They sound... different. I assume they smell worse than horses?
[It's that last part that stands out the most, though.]
You're capable of traveling to other planets?
no subject
They don't look like matted carpets with legs, after all.
And yes! People have been travelling the stars where I'm from for tens of thousands of years.
no subject
I've never heard of such a thing. On Earth, the furthest humanity has gotten is to the moon, and that wasn't on a permanent basis.
no subject
But yeah, it's strange to me to think of the other perspective - even when I was little, I knew other worlds were out there, if I could only reach them. But I suppose it focuses people in a lot of ways, too.
