Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:
  • Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
  • When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya!
  • Other characters can be prompted to fill out their friends' profiles for them. This includes the Q&A section!
  • Alternatively, they choose not to fill out the form, and it remains unfilled! These unfilled profiles will not be posted live.
  • Characters either like or dislike others CHIRPER profiles. These responses are private between the characters involved.

For those who do post a top level, CHIRPER toplevels are worth five extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These five extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

Or profit from it at the expense of others. Which is sort of what people like me are for.

But stars, you've got my mind buzzing over all this. The only example I know of from my universe of anything like this was from...oh, gosh, tens of thousands of years back. Half legend now.

It's an intent thing. You're doing it to make lives genuinely better, and that's going to make all the difference.

What you're doing - stars, I hope you keep doing stuff like it for a very long and productive life.

My own example is just...the other side of that intent. But, thankfully, hasn't been a problem for about four thousand years? Give or take.

Which ought to tell you just how impressed I am with what you've achieved.

It does sound extremely esoteric where you're from when we're using the same premise. Is there a reason why no one's researched it? Other than fear of what it's capable of?

The fact that it would take a massive archaeological expedition to even find it would do the trick - we'd have to figure out where in space it was before even beginning to figure out how it might have worked.

And if the legends are true, the very operation of the technology would be corruptive to people like me.

So yeah, huge expedition, spooky legends, the works, heh.
