Hello, fellow people of Etraya. For those that don't know me, my name is Lady Vex'ahlia de Rolo. I'm sure that some of you have spoken with my brother, Vax'ildan, who has been here for a while. I apologize for not introducing myself earlier to you all, but he's the nicer twin.

That aside, I do know that there was a message by some doctor lately about therapy, but I don't know that that will work for everyone. I do have another idea and I've spoken to another doctor — Doctor Romano, I believe — about something a friend from home called a support group.

If you're interested in talking to others who have gone through a rather great deal back home as people who have been forced to save your world, I believe that speaking with like minded people might do us all a world of good for our mental health. I don't have any sort of medical training, but I have fought literal dragons and a lich attempting to become a god. And a vampire.

I believe meeting once a week might be a good idea, but I've no clue what sort of place would be good to use. Is there some sort of central area that we all can reach fairly easily?

Also, if someone who is an actual medical profession with training would like to conduct this, please contact me privately.

Ah, that’s your introduction? No parade of titles, no gleaming trophies, not even a mention of your impeccable aim? I expected something grander from Lady Baroness Slayer of Dragons and Occasional Voice of Reason. I am impressed and mildly disappointed.

Still, it is a good idea. Most of us are stitched together with nerves and sleeplessness, pretending it passes for composure. A support group sounds far more sensible than my usual method, which involves too much coffee, long silences, and convincing myself that brooding counts as progress.

If you will have me, I will attend. I can offer dry wit, unhelpful advice, and the illusion of calm. Those are my only consistent talents.

Will there be a separate support group for those of us with no special powers or grand events in our lives?

I have run groups before, but most support comes with alcohol assistance.

A support group sounds great. I don't know where we could host it, but I'm planning to take a look around. I can send you a couple suggestions.

I'm interested in talking. About Percival. Is smoke normal for him? He says it's normal.

I've never heard of support groups like this before. I think it's a good idea. If you would like, I can offer some space in Garreg Mach. It's near a trolley stop, and it is quite large. I can repurpose one of the larger classrooms for it.

What if you only had to help the kids who had to save the world?

[Sleeper sends just a picture of some happy, roosting chickens plumped out around the factory where they call home.]

Emotional support from the flock of Dorothys is available to those who wish it. They're good girls.

I didn't want the dads to name them after second-rate musicians so I took a page out of Oz and named them all Dorothy. Only a handful of people have gotten it because almost nobody reads the other thirteen books.

But they are good at sitting on laps and being soft and fluffy. In moderation. Emotional support animals are a thing in my world where animals can be used for comfort or as a surrogate to talk things out to without judgment.

Nope, my personal trauma is fine being personal. You always have my ear, however, sister.

[ But back to his point. ]

Like Orthax except Percy says he's not possessed, and black smoke just comes off of his body sometimes when he gets emotional. And it's completely normal, according to him.

I don't know about everyone else, but I just feel tired most of the time. It doesn't make me angry, just [ ... ] overwhelmed, I guess. Doesn't change what I have to do, though.

You know I'm hopeless without you, Stubby.

[ The idea of not wanting her there is ridiculous. ]

I thought so, too, but there was smoke on him when I met him the first time on the trolley after he arrived in Etraya.

Sure thing. I'll look close to the apartments, since most people live there, right?

So you could still join the group?

I was in shock at the time!

[ Vax was processing a lot. He didn't even remember the smoke until Percy reminded him that it was there. ]

But Percy mentioned the smoke on the trolley to prove it's normal for him. He says it's not related to a demon, but I was worried, which is why I'm asking you, Vex.

There was a talking chicken in the books who named all of her chicks after her human friend, Dorothy. Then the ones that turned out to be roosters became Daniel. It's a fanciful set of children's stories in a world with magic that caters to the sense of wonder and fascination that those from worlds that are magic-poor tend to have.

Most of the people here aren't from worlds where bears are something that one finds comforting in close proximity. Although I've never actually had much experience with bears, since I'm a city cat at heart. I wonder what if your friend would consider allowing me to share his form for the experience.

Who's in control of the trolley lines? Maybe we could just request another stop.

[ The wheels are turning a little, even if he's briefly stuck on one point. ]

Yeah, but who am I getting angry at? Where am I directing all that energy? Seems like a lot of effort if I don't have a target.

I would be happy to give you a tour. Generally, my schedule is open. I usually train in the mornings, but the rest of the day is flexible.

Have you had any luck finding a facilitator? I can’t think of anyone who has the experience with that sort of thing, but there might be someone who has the people skills to be able to figure it out.

The person in charge of the group? Your group, your rules.
