Hello, fellow people of Etraya. For those that don't know me, my name is Lady Vex'ahlia de Rolo. I'm sure that some of you have spoken with my brother, Vax'ildan, who has been here for a while. I apologize for not introducing myself earlier to you all, but he's the nicer twin.
That aside, I do know that there was a message by some doctor lately about therapy, but I don't know that that will work for everyone. I do have another idea and I've spoken to another doctor — Doctor Romano, I believe — about something a friend from home called a support group.
If you're interested in talking to others who have gone through a rather great deal back home as people who have been forced to save your world, I believe that speaking with like minded people might do us all a world of good for our mental health. I don't have any sort of medical training, but I have fought literal dragons and a lich attempting to become a god. And a vampire.
I believe meeting once a week might be a good idea, but I've no clue what sort of place would be good to use. Is there some sort of central area that we all can reach fairly easily?
Also, if someone who is an actual medical profession with training would like to conduct this, please contact me privately.

Still, it is a good idea. Most of us are stitched together with nerves and sleeplessness, pretending it passes for composure. A support group sounds far more sensible than my usual method, which involves too much coffee, long silences, and convincing myself that brooding counts as progress.
If you will have me, I will attend. I can offer dry wit, unhelpful advice, and the illusion of calm. Those are my only consistent talents.

I have run groups before, but most support comes with alcohol assistance.

Emotional support from the flock of Dorothys is available to those who wish it. They're good girls.

Although, if Scanlan was here, he'd probably be happy to hold a parade for us both.
And the idea came from Pike, so you know there has to be some good behind it. I refuse to claim that I came up with him myself. I'm only willing to see if it's possible to help those I love and have met here keep ourselves together with more than wine, sex and sarcasm.
You're more than welcome, darling, but I can assure you that you are consistently talented in a great many things. Your wife isn't complaining.

Although, if we're just going on a tavern crawl, I can do that myself.

As for smoke... What smoke? Like Orthax? Or that he's blown something up and he's singed?

The group idea is not my own, as I've said, but the only healer I've spoken with here has already claimed that he is not a good fit for leading it. A shame, really. And, well, it's too good of an idea to let sit and waste away into the ether.

I'm not sure how they'll offer any help, but they certainly are cute. However, why are you calling them "Dorothys"? They look like common hens that I've seen on every farm my whole life.

But they are good at sitting on laps and being soft and fluffy. In moderation. Emotional support animals are a thing in my world where animals can be used for comfort or as a surrogate to talk things out to without judgment.

[ But back to his point. ]
Like Orthax except Percy says he's not possessed, and black smoke just comes off of his body sometimes when he gets emotional. And it's completely normal, according to him.
Not sure how I missed this in my first round. I'M SORRY!
That's a lesson I learned recently myself. And I must admit that my revenge against those who wronged me didn't make me as happy as proving to them that I'm a better person. Both socially and emotionally.

[There's a bit of a groan in Vax's ear as she listens to his reply.]
I assure you that it was not normal. Not until whatever happened with the fog here. One more thing I can thank Echo for.

[ The idea of not wanting her there is ridiculous. ]
I thought so, too, but there was smoke on him when I met him the first time on the trolley after he arrived in Etraya.

As for emotional support animals, I prefer my bear. He is large, cuddly and gives the most excellent massages.

But, honestly, it might help you if you got angry. Expressed some of the darker emotions that exist under the fatigue.

[And they both know that she's never going to be the same without him either. It's just how it is.]
And you're just now telling me this, Vax? When the two of you fought?

[ Vax was processing a lot. He didn't even remember the smoke until Percy reminded him that it was there. ]
But Percy mentioned the smoke on the trolley to prove it's normal for him. He says it's not related to a demon, but I was worried, which is why I'm asking you, Vex.

Most of the people here aren't from worlds where bears are something that one finds comforting in close proximity. Although I've never actually had much experience with bears, since I'm a city cat at heart. I wonder what if your friend would consider allowing me to share his form for the experience.

Yeah, but who am I getting angry at? Where am I directing all that energy? Seems like a lot of effort if I don't have a target.

Have you had any luck finding a facilitator? I can’t think of anyone who has the experience with that sort of thing, but there might be someone who has the people skills to be able to figure it out.
