I have tried to stay optimistic - hopeful, at least - in regards to our mission. I have seen planets die and stars burn out; even relocating those on said dying planets doesn't always work out well. Not everyone is equipped to adjust to new environments even if they are similar to what they had before.
(They have to be successful in other words. They have to.)
I wish to represent multiple worlds since there are many in my galaxy that have no representation. Are there any others in our number who feel likewise? I know that space travel isn't common; we can only help the worlds that we recall.
(She wishes she had brought maps with her!)
I am also curious how many of us have military or fighting experience? I would like to know who to call on should I find myself or others in a tight situation.

[She’s still figuring out where her place in the world is, post-Red Room, post-Dreykov, post-everything she ever knew. It’s a learning curve, but doing the dirty work so someone less morally ambiguous can keep their hands free of blood? She can do that.
And though this is the first time she has spoken to this woman, Yelena can’t help note how genuinely good she is— good not in “vs evil”, but in the obvious selflessness in her words, the level of compassion that she has to offer herself as representative for so many.]

(It's Padmé's view that they need to help each other. That way every world is preserved (if they are indeed in danger).)

You're welcome.
Yes, you can contact me anytime. I will do what I can in a given situation.

I'm glad you're here, but I hope we can see you home safely soon. I hope we can all go home safely.

[She's pretty sure that's what she means, and she like the way the other woman thinks.]

(Having a better understanding of this planet and why they're here is worth it.)

Maybe we can make that opening happen, if we get enough like-minded people together.
[At some point, Echo has to listen to the masses, right?]

(Or taken as some call to war.)

If you ever decided to get louder about it... let me know, yes?
[A weird way to say "Keep me in the loop", but hey~ ]
