When all those kids started making their territory I thought we were all on the same page.

So why are these assignments like this? What's the cutoff here?

Yet I'm considered old enough to not need further education.

What, really? So what are you supposed to be doing?

It's not like the 'adults' have anything special to do either.

Weird. Maybe you can apply for a job by yourself, if you want one.

I don't think there's anything to spend credits on.

Right. We don't even have to spend money here.

Guess that's one upside.

Which does raise the question on why everyone feels the need to work. Some of these jobs can't be necessary.

I also question why they needed to put us in family units with strangers.

Seems like a bid to keep us occupied. Maybe there's something they don't want us to find out.

There's been a lot of emphasis on team work even when we're supposed to be competing against each other. This whole family thing is an extension of that.

If it's a cover up I don't see the point of it.

Haven't you listened to the people here? All they talk about is what day they're having and what the current mission is.

Okay, so maybe not a cover-up, but... I wonder when we will become that complacent with everything.

What else would you talk about? I've got a job to do, I'm not here to make friends.

[He's not commenting on the complacency as that's the ideal case for him. Everyone else gets complacent and he can swoop him beat all the competition at whatever cost and save his galaxy.]

It's just that she's still wondering if there's a deeper truth behind everything. Which means that everything is a little suspicious. ]
