Oh, yeah, no! I didn't think so, it's just- Like I said, it's a common misconception and for understandable reasons. That just means I've had to explain it a lot which can be kind of tiring. I know you didn't mean anything by it though.

But- Yeah, agreed. I did think the musicians were talented and enjoyed working with them, but that's always where it ended for me. Also because I wanted to be one eventually and, well, couldn't risk my reputation like that anyway.

Okay, just checking. That must be very annoying to have to explain all the time. [Weird that she needs to do that with other people who's first language is probably the same as hers, but..... Yelena knows people can be very, very dense at times.]

Did doing that get you some sort of... I don't know, connections in your industry, at least?

It is, but! Ah, well. Most people seem to take the correction just fine. Others, well- They're usually trying to imply something by remaining ignorant.

It did, for a time, but once you aren't active in it anymore... People tend to forget, I guess. It's a pretty fast-paced kind of career, music.
