ableism now too kind of. angre

[And now she explodes. He doesn't even know what a vidoe is. What the fuck kind of healing is he offering, leeches??]

A. First. Draft. A first ATTEMPT. A practice run??? Are you seriously this fucking stupid or just deliberately obtuse? This wasn't THE VERSION that I meant to release. THE VERSION. As in THE VERSION of the "moving picture". Because we would have corrected THE ARM and replaced it with something less visceral and gory. Are you following or do I need to start doing charades for you to understand what I'm fucking saying.

And no. It's not that I'm not interested in the opinions or experiences of others, I'm just not interested in the opinions or experiences of others if they don't know what a draft or a video is or if they approach me in bad faith. I assumed you were a healer of some sort given the pretentious holier than thou attitude and the way you think you can lecture me on medical ettiquette. I just don't care.

Since you're insisting on arguing with me and continuing with these brainless assumptions though, I'm not taking moral responsibility for anyone that's set off by any amount of blood. That's a given and something they will need to work on considering the kinds of missions we get dropped into. What I will accept responsibility is that I should have given a more extensive prior warning over what we were about to do. That I'll apologize and take responsibility for, sure.

[Not in such a way that this person thinks she's apologizing to him mind you.

It grates on her, these complaints that frankly completely miss the mark. She has had to heal everyone, the most vile of people included, since she was fifteen years old. Rapists, human traffickers, Victoria's boyfriend. There wasn't and still isn't any room for her to break from that, to start considering who she wants to heal.]

I can safely say though that nobody has left my care so traumatized that they needed therapy because the treatment was just so horrifying. I've healed a few hundred thousand people and never once had a complaint beyond a snippy comment about "she seemed grumpy." [She has absolutely not kept count that high but it sounds satisfying. She's healed a lot of people is the point.] Everything I do is completely free and always has been, which factors in a considerable amount with the state of healthcare in my country. Almost all of what I do is completely invisible to the naked eye and I make sure they're not caught up in feeling it either, if it was something like this I'd generally put them to sleep with their permission. I've also never blocked anyone from treatment, even with some of the most vile people when I've really fucking wanted to, because it's my job.

I want to "assist people" because if we collectively work together to save our worlds then we have a better chance of it than squabbling and fighting amongst ourselves. I contribute what I have to offer, and others can contribute what they have to offer. It's the basic rule of cooperation, which is our only real weapon against an existential threat on this scale. So drop the sanctimonious horse shit. You don't know a single thing about me. Or even about modern medicine apparently.
