Hello. This is Castiel.

I'm looking for any information that can be provided on Aurora, Etraya, and Echo. I'm particularly interested in the latter.

I'm certain anyone who's made attempts at gathering information about this place and those who've brought us here will have noticed there's no library.

[now that castiel mentions it —]

I also thought that was strange.

[a pause. then:]

Is there anything stopping us from keeping our own records?

[an actual block, magical or otherwise? she hasn't felt anything, but.]

i like abbreviations makes me type faster

echo is a tricky bastard
as u probably know aurora isnt the real boss. echo is. theyre the one who evaluates all our bullshit teammwork challenges. they design this shit like its cartoons for middle schoolers i s2g

we have multiple ppl from my world with diff relationships w/ death and the timeline. i dont think echo has any power over death bc all this bs would be moot otherwise. they do have some power over time though. probably just another dimension 2 them due 2 their ~~omnipotence~~

a cartoon for middle schoolers is a show that is broadcast on tv (box with moving pictures on it) made from animated drawings and aimed at kids between 10-13 years old. real moronic shit. im saying echo is dumb and saccharine

have they? ive seen them take people from the point of death and heal em up. that seems different. and i dont think death here counts when we are in their playground

oh yeah what kind of time travel can u do? spill. u owe me buster

There isn't a lot we know about Echo. Fuck, we don't even know how much of Echo is still Echo.

If you want a library you could ask Aurora about that. We've got a bookstore, but a library's not a bad idea.

Echo apparently loses something every time they bring someone here, similar to what happens to us when we die and are brought back. It's like a Ship of Theseus thing, but I don't know if they're replacing the parts they've lost.

Have you asked her?

I was talking to Aurora about death, and she told me. If you don't think she's trustworthy you'll want to take this information with a grain of salt.

Then you should try.

I heard you may ask them things directly. It might be worth trying, but I would not expect a straight-forward answer.

There is technically at least one library. It is simply useless. There is also a bookstore, which is less useless but, as you've noted, contains no information on Etraya itself.

I do not trust Aurora or Echo, but it would likewise be remiss to err too far on the side of assuming hostility. If Etraya is indeed a newly created universe, there may not be manuscripts pertaining to it. Knowing something and creating an informational or instructional guide on that thing are two different skill sets.

Because it's a very censored library from Fodlan. I suppose if one wanted to educate a small child, it might be marginally useful. Or if you were interested in the basics of healing magic.

It's a very bad sign, but not necessarily one of malice. It may be incompetence. Or that they have less control over Etraya than they're claiming.

I don't teleport people into rivers. I'd expect beings as powerful as Aurora and Echo claim to be to not make mistakes that well-educated human mages could avoid. It's somewhat concerning. If they don't have or have lost control of their teleportation, how much can we trust about the integrity of any other created aspect of this place?
sleepfan: (Hands up talking)

The term we've settled on to describe the world from whence I come: It is the name of our continent. Knowledge was rather purposefully censored and restricted, so it's a rather useless library. I can personally attest to there being nothing that would help us understand Etraya, Aurora, or Echo. Interestingly, the subterranean library of forbidden knowledge (and my personal collection of disapproved of manuscripts) is not present in the replica of the monastery.

Some of us upon arrival were teleported from the spaceship into (or above) a river. It's sheer luck that nobody died of shock - that we know of. I almost lost all of my notes.

[ Unlike Castiel, Linhardt can't teleport himself. So into the river it had been. At least he'd saved his bag. ]
