I would have to ask Dean to know that. I wasn't familiar with the original version of this library, but he was.

How is it possible that the ship fell to the planet but the singularity isn't visible from here? The spacial distortion should be affecting the planet at that distance. Unless the ship and the singularity were both originally much farther and the ship was brought here on purpose.
