[ Zishu knows this post is rather...belated. However it should still be made, so he finally addresses the network at large. ]

As Wen Kexing has so kindly made himself a menace in our new home, if he goes too far, I ask for a message to be sent to me. If that is too much a bother, send him my way. I am Zhou Zishu.

[ And, since he's sure his silly soulmate is watching, he grins a little. ]

He's a bit of a peacock, but I won't have him harmed. Consider this your warning.

A-Xu! [He is in full pout and yet he is struggling for words! Zishu is saying he will protect him!]

I'm only a little bit of a menace. Surely that's acceptable?

[ Of course he'll protect his soulmate. No matter how much 'trouble' Kexing is, he belongs to Zishu! This protest alone has his grin widen. ]

It is. I even expect it of you.

[Nope. He can't be mad. His features soften into an affectionate smile.]

If I don't growl a little bit, people might think I'm a pushover. Then if I need to protect A-Xu, they will have the wrong idea about me.

[ Neither of them are able to stay mad at the other for long at all. It's not fair! ]

And I don't have the right to protect my silly Lao Wen? I like how you growl.

[Life isn't fair. At least this part works in their favor!]

I'm alright, I promise. As long as you're here and healing, there is nothing wrong with me. There's nothing I can't do.

[ So true. Zishu's grin softens. ]

I'm here. You're healing me.

Your nails have been destroyed. They won't hurt anyone else. [He took out his fury on them.]

Just a few left. I feel stronger every day.

[ Not to say he doesn't still have bad days! But Kexing is always there to help him through them. ]

The last one will be the trickiest. [But he is preparing himself.] I wish the old monster was here. I could use his strength.

We can wait longer to remove the last one. We'll both be stronger. I trust your strength, my Lao Wen.

But you'll still be in pain. [He grits his teeth.] I think if I give you a bigger rush of healing energy, it will be enough.

I've handled worse. [ Obviously. Considering all he's done to himself. ]

I won't accept if it puts you in danger.

I'd rather you didn't have to. [This isn't some necessity; Kexing believes he can be strong enough. For his A-Xu.]

I can make that decision for myself. If it's for you, I can do anything.

Lao Wen. You are the only reason I want to live now. You draining yourself just so I'm in less pain will only piss me off.

I'm the Ghost Lord. I was serious about my studies after I lost my parents. After I lost you. How can a little nail break me? Besides...

You already do. Wait a little longer before the last one is removed. You said it yourself it will be the hardest one.

[ He lightly touches his Lao Wen's image. ]

You know how much I hate to argue. This is one thing I will.

[He bumps his forehead against Zishu's image.]

You won't lose me. I'm too stubborn.

You have been sleeping better.

[ The motion has him smile softly. ]

Neither will you.

Aah. You've been there with me.

[That he makes such a difference has him smiling.]

I'm not taking any chances with you. What a shame, we might need to always sleep close!

[ Wen Kexing makes all the difference. He chuckles and shakes his head fondly. ]

We will just have to find a way to endure it.

You've been doing really well. Do you know how fast I would've run to you if I had known my Zhou Zishu was alive? Your Window couldn't have stopped me.

Probably about as fast as I'd have run to you, had I known my Lao Wen lived. No Ghost would have gotten in my way.

[He blushes happily, glancing down.]

They're weak compared to you. Besides, all you would need to do is say your name.

[ He smirks at that pretty blush. ]

Just as you would have just had to say your childhood name to one of our brothers and you would have been brought to me.

...you talked about me? [He barely dares to ask, voice hushed.] With them, I mean?

[ The smirk fades. ] Some of them may have remembered you, or at least me talking about you and your parents going missing. I missed you.

I'm sorry. I was basically a prisoner until I worked my way up the food chain. By then, I had to drink Water of Lethe and I forgot...everything. Even you.

But only for a little while. As soon as I met you again, those memories started coming back.

Lao Wen. None of it matters now. We have both found our way back to each other. Even here. Nothing can keep us apart. I don't care what you had to do to survive.

[Speaking of holding someone together!]

I gave up too, A-Xu. Now that I have you, I want to live again. I'm tired of being a ghost.

[ He shakes his head a little. ]

No. You found a way to survive. Your stubbornness kept you going. Now we can live again.

I survived for vengeance. That's all. [He suddenly saunters up to Zishu, ending their conversation with a soft kiss.] Now I live for A-Xu.

[ Ah! There he is! Zishu smiles into the sweet kiss and nudges their noses together. ]

Just as I live for my Lao Wen.

[Kexing puts his communicator away and pulls Zishu into his arms, soaking in his warmth, the sound of his voice, their little kisses (which can hardly stop at one!)~]

If any of your disciples end up here, don't worry~ I'll protect them too. A-Xu can have his family.

[ Zishu steps into that warmth, slipping his arms around his love. Of course they won't stop with just one little kiss! ]

My family is your family. Anyone from home who comes here that you want protected, will be.

[He grins joyfully and gives Zishu a little spin, his hands on his waist.]

Some of my ghosts are trustworthy. Others aren't. I will introduce you.

[ He chuckles at the spin and gives his silly soulmate's rear a playful little pinch in 'revenge'. ]

Those who aren't, won't be defended.

[He gasps and then laughs, hugging his adorable A-Xu to his chest!]

Changing Ghost can be coerced if you know how. Tragicomic Ghost is a good friend. White Grim Reaper is dead. Black Grim Reaper is frightened of me. Hanged Ghost is dead. Happy Ghost can be coerced, too. Ghoul fears Tragicomic Ghost and he is loyal to me. Lovelace is dead. Long-Tongued Ghost is dead. And Beauty Ghost is a good friend and loyal to Tragicomic Ghost.

Out of all of those, I would have A-Xu get to know Tragicomic and Beauty Ghost first. They are genuine beauties, both within and without, that have been treated poorly by men.

[ He grins and nibbles on his love's lips, holding on just as tight. But listens intently to each name and brief description of each Ghost. And the two his soulmate wants him to meet most. ]

Should I be worried you surrounded yourself with female ghosts, Lao Wen?

[Oh his A-Xu is feeling jealous, maybe? Or...insecure? How cute! Kexing nuzzles kisses over his cheeks before he answers.]

Tragicomic Ghost's real name is Luo Fumeng. She was like a mother to me when I was first kidnapped. She stopped what cruelty she could and she protected A-Xiang too. Beauty Ghost's real name is Liu Qianqiao and she has devoted herself to Luo Fumeng. I honestly don't think either of them want anything more to do with men. Both carry the scars of abuse and I trust them to know what they can handle and what they can't. They are family to me.

But not like my A-Xu.

[Have a mildly confused man just slowly head tilting at the screen.]

He's been very kind to me so far? I haven't seen any reason for concern but if I notice anything, I'll pass it along?

[At least, unless Wen Kexing expressly asks him to keep something quiet. The man's managed to win over and secure Huaisang's loyalty rather quickly.]

[ This makes him smile. ]

No need to, unless as I said, he goes too far. I'd rather he stay in one piece. I'm glad he's been kind to you.

I'd be surprised if anyone could take him in a fight. I don't think you have too much to worry about. He's pretty impressive.

[There may be a bit of hero worship happening here already. Huaisang's Just Like That with people who protect him, it seems.]

[ Zishu resists a chuckle, ducking his head at the clear worship this man displays. ]

I am glad to hear he has made at least one friend here.

He has. If anyone gives him trouble, they'll have to contend with me, too.

[Of course, it's phrased mildly, tinged with his habitual timidity and nervousness that makes him so much younger and meeker than he actually is. Much of the internal storm that had building inside him for so long has broken, thus reverting him back to a state more reminiscent of the boy he'd once been.

But that doesn't mean that without suitable provocation, the uncompromising, unrelenting fury that's been typically reserved for Jin Guangyao can't return and be directed at someone else.]

I take it that you're his friend and know him well?

[ Zishu understands how appearances can deceive. Something tells him this man is stronger than he appears. ]

Ah? Good. He should have more people willing to protect him, more friends.

He knows me best, just as I know him best.

He helped me when when I needed help. I'm not in the habit of forgetting my debts.

[Whether someone does him a wrong or a kindness, he never forgets. Repayment in kind always comes eventually. He conspired to resurrect his friend from the dead, partly because he'd needed his help but partly because he'd felt he owed him one after saving his life when they were teenagers and his failure to help him out of his own plight in Wei Wuxian's first life.]

That's wonderful. I'm happy for him. And for you, too, as well. I haven't known him very long but I can already tell his friendship is a gift to those lucky enough to have it.

[Thankfully he finds your friend amusing enough to give a free life experience tip, free of charge.]

Warnings, no matter how noble the intent to protect your friend is, can give any potential opponent the information needed to plan to exploit any vulnerabilities.

Never tip your hand, the element of the unexpected is far more effective.
