How many of you are unfamiliar with modern technology?

I haven't failed to notice that there's a substantial population who are either from universes or time periods that don't have objects like motor vehicles. I wonder if this mission is meant to be an added challenge.

[ castiel flutters down to the garage to find it well-stocked. that doesn't stop him from gathering tools from other places, though — whatever the kwik stop has on offer and what might be left lying around. it doesn't really take him long at all to complete his task, and from the garage he sends dean another message: ]

I'm also unfamiliar with modern technology due to my circumstances, despite coming from a comparatively "modern" world. And I agree.

my world's modern technology is different from gas engines and electricity generators that come up on some planets.

but i don't know how many of us know how to put together a car even if we come from worlds with them. if every team has an engineer or mechanic or not

I was taught how to use a cell phone before coming here. It's not that much different.

that was just the way that place was run but we could get tested like this again
