I haven't failed to notice that there's a substantial population who are either from universes or time periods that don't have objects like motor vehicles. I wonder if this mission is meant to be an added challenge.

I'm also unfamiliar with modern technology due to my circumstances, despite coming from a comparatively "modern" world. And I agree.

I guess this place must be a bit tough for you, although you are using the network without issues? Fast learner?

I was taught how to use a cell phone before coming here. It's not that much different.

my world's modern technology is different from gas engines and electricity generators that come up on some planets.

but i don't know how many of us know how to put together a car even if we come from worlds with them. if every team has an engineer or mechanic or not

another mission had people taking on parent roles and jobs in careers they knew nothing about. so

that was just the way that place was run but we could get tested like this again

What was it like?

it had access to a lot more books and education and more stuff to do and places to get things. but getting forced into roles and being punished for it and having a death curfew sucked

Sorry, I'm unfamiliar with the technology. My people use snails and I have no idea of how to use those. My point was, I have no idea of how these vehicles work and walking around garages has not illuminated me in the least.

I don't understand either. There are so many different parts.

Transponder snails. They're animals, very common in my world.

I've seen similar creatures here, but they're very tiny and fragile and don't seem to have the same ability.
