Hey

Does anyone know where I can get a guitar

Or a bass or a fucking ukelele whatever I don’t really care as long it’s in the same family, but I prefer guitar. I just need something to do besides draw and compose or else my brain is going to break in half like a dusty twig and it’s already half way there

my best instruments are guitar and piano, then probably violin
bass I love the sound of but it never clicked right unfortunately
I've dabbled in a lot of them but wind instruments aren't for me I found
like I learned basic flute because someone said I couldn't, but that's about it

singing is my real talent though, I'd say!

i kind of want to get more into wind instruments to be honest, it just didn't really work with my brand. Maybe I can do that here eventually....
I really like singing too. I remember singing even when I was really little all the time

[Till doesn't remember much very clearly at all, but he first started singing because...well, the language was in him, and it was his gift; he was passionate about it, and it brought such joy to his mother that he continued relentlessly. he'd even sang more than he'd spoken, as a baby.

in turn, it put Till down a dark vocational path as a human pet, but even so...he loves singing enough that he probably wouldn't have wanted a different fate. all humans die pretty young.]

im also into the idea of just being an instrumentalist and track master too though. but we didn't really collaborate, we just competed

i.e. in one our homes, haha

[ Rosie's beginnings with singing were similar. She doesn't remember much of her mother beyond the basics, but- She remembers her singing, almost always, and so beautifully that it inspired her to do the same. It's one of the only things she has of her anymore. ]

I loved being in bands and helping out others!! we all kind of balance out our skills and stuff, y'know?

There were some pet humans who were made to work together like that I think they just arent as popular
People really like the weird solo celebrity angle... its pretty gross
Also makes the stakes in the bloodsport of it all a lot more appealing i think...

Seems like my universe is the weird one......
there's non pet humans but theyre a lot less common. even they get snatched up from the slums and sold into whatever slave role pretty frequently anyway, theyre just less valuable

So its nice I can at least connect w ppl about music bc... idk... compared to other humans im really not normal, im realizing. Even socially

[ The similarities really are uncanny, she thinks. The only difference is it was her kind snatched from the underbelly of the world and sold into slavery (if they were lucky). It was even planned for her to be sold to a 'collector' of exotic creatures due to her beauty, but then she bit the handler and they set her down a more violent path instead. ]
