[Loki is dressed impeccably, if casually (at least for him) in a black, button up shirt, undone at the collar, his hair tidy and brushed back from his face. He looks confident and relaxed, though anyone who knows him might note a smidge of nervousness.]

I was hoping someone here might know of a restaurant that is not either the diner or the pub. They are both fine establishments, but I was looking for something a little more upscale and intimate for a special occasion. Any chance one of you might know of such a place? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Though I agree it could be a time thing as well, it seems rather doubtful since I do not know who you are. I would assume since you seem to know me and I do not know you that we are not from the same timeline.

There's at least two bars, Rocky's and Harry's. There's a diner named Diner, which sounds like it should be fancy upscaled deconstructed diner classics but it's just diner food. There's "Big Belly Burger" which is like generic fast food. A coffee shop. Define restaurant. I've seen the whole dome.

A nice place where one sits at a table with a friend or friends, orders food from a menu and wait staff bring you your order. I suppose much like some of the establishments you’ve listed, I was simply hoping for one that is a little more upscale. You know, nice wines, high end well prepared food, perhaps candles on the tables for ambiance. That sort.

Yeah. A bar that serves food isn't a restaurant. It's one dude with a deep fryer.

And, yeah, you're definitely looking for something nicer than fast food if you want actual ambiance and a terrifying 14-foot smooth-faced statue that is gonna try and kill us all while we sleep ain't it. I haven't seen anything like that. Can't even find decent noodles.

Yes, that is about the same response I am getting from others. [Well, not exactly the same, but the meaning is there. No one else has mentioned murderous statues and Loki isn’t sure if that’s something that’s happened or just something this man is worried about given the strangeness of this place.]

[Some of what Tommy has said so far has given Loki the idea that he is aware of there being multiple Loki’s, but he’s still unsure if he just means he could be from different points in time or if he’s aware of his variants. But he supposes it doesn’t really matter. Everyone in Etraya is aware of the multiverse at least.]

Would you believe me if I said it was Adult and kind of Boring Loki’s plan? I mean, I like to think I still know how to have a good time, but I haven’t had as much time for mischief more recently.

Huh. Okay, so aware that there's a multiverse, met America, heard about the whole Demiurge thing, buuuut I haven't heard about the one where Adult and kinda Boring Loki is the mix. Maybe it's because you're boring?

[ He's into second chances, so Tommy's not going to question the idea that Loki might be an okay dude. From what the other "we're only Young Avengers when it's convenient" nerds had on their social media? Loki can be an OK dude, even when he's not.

[Loki laughs good-naturedly at that. He’s been called a lot of things in his life, but never boring. It doesn’t bother him though. It’s not like this man really knows him or why he might act the way he does now.]

I suppose that is subjective. Being boring. I don’t believe I am, but I would guess that most people would say that. Whether it’s true or not is a different story.
