My name is Jayce Talis. I’ve noticed there’s a few buildings here that seem to be laboratories. If any have availability to lend a room or two, I have research and device development I would like to work on. Ideally if there’s any access to a forge of some sort, that would be preferred, but not required. I have a personal reference if necessary to demonstrate good character.

Does anyone truly care about one's character when they have knowledge and expertise to offer? Such trivialities will be the end of us. Though, if you do learn anything about the state of availability of these labs, I would certainly like to know of it as well.

I must admit, I am curious about your little project.

Only if you allow your bruised ego to act as a hurdle. Still, this is why I opt to work alone if I can, no one will get in your way. Though, even I know that is not always possible to exist in complete solitude.

What is the target of your research, then? You mentioned a forge, is it some manner of armament?

I want to study this world's magic. The forge is so I can make my own prototypes if needed. No armaments.

Our success in whatever tasks we're given is what ensures we save Runeterra. I don't think there's any rules that say we can't invent anything that could help us out in that.

[And there's a little more to it than that, but given how some people have acted like there's some conversations better off said not on the network, Jayce keeps his more secret plans to himself.]

And the tasks seem to vary from what I've been told. I expect it will be the cooperative aspect that will trip us up on Runeterra's behalf.

Not when every idea is more idiotic than the last. If I could find an intellectual equal, then perhaps I would have a different opinion, but alas.

That being said, it would seem we have a similar interest. I am well studied in many forms of magic, and I find myself curious of what laws this world finds itself bound to. I have my theories, of course, though they are fledglings at best.

However, if you were going to create one with magic, I suggest multiple and then alternating people in them at a time.

I have been known to make exceptions to my preferences if the exchange is worthwhile, however tedious the journey proves. You have my curiosity piqued, and should your vying for a lab prove worthy through your ability and knowledge, then we might find each other agreeable in our converging endeavor.

I was a wee tot once, and sometimes we just had to share everything. Not enough to go around for all the kids, hence why we needed a get-along shirt.

If you need a forge and workshop space, there’s plenty in Stonhyrr.

Just take the bridge from the hospital to the Bangsan market. Head north till you see water and look west. Big looming fortress. Can’t miss it. Not too bad, maybe a five mile walk altogether.

Give me a call before you hit the bridge so I can call off the behemoth.
