Please tell me there's a pet store or anything like that in this stupid place.
I need a cage.
Or at least a muzzle for something with way too many damn teeth.
[ Surprise! Sevika did manage to hatch the egg she was handed. Less surprise, what hatched has a mean streak. ]

( an affirmative as much as anything else. damian drops the crate down, turning it over so it's right-side up, and sits on top of it. the cloak he wears is pulled up, hood over the top of his head with small slivers of the yellow lining showing as damian leans forward, putting his elbow on his thigh and his chin atop his palm. )
You want a crate for your porg. ( he knows the word is incorrect. it's used intentionally wrong. ) I want to know who the new arrivals are that keep bickering over the network. You know, don't you? "piltoversfinest", "hound", Jayce Talis, "EyeOfZaun". I don't need specifics, just basics.

You know...
[ She begins, not bothering to pull out a chair but leaning a hip against a pub table instead and planting a hand — her only one — on the other hip. There's no movement from the left side to follow suit, only the cloth of her poncho hanging still where the other arm should be. ]
I knew those idiots were going to attract attention real quick the way they go on, but I hadn't expected it to come from a six-year-old.
[ Incorrect guess at his age. You know, intentionally. ]

and damian's grinning in response. at the challenge she imposes. at the whole, those idiots bit, because he gets that all too well. )
Are you going to share, or do I need to carry this back with me? ( with a kick of his boot against the door of the crate. not enough to hurt it any, just enough to direct her attention to it. )

May as well. With how chatty they're being, they're bound to reveal it all without my help sooner or later.
[ Plus, she does want that crate. Save the vicious poro from its current in-the-stove home, Damian. ]
In the same order you listed them? Kiramman, Vander, Talis, and Silco. As I'm sure you already know, we're familiar with each other.

luckily for all three of them, she is giving him what he wants, so he sees no reason to withhold the crate. robin pulls himself up and off of the crate, taking a step to the side and away from it with a gesture down to it — all hers.
but also: )
Vander and Silco appear to have an antagonistic at best relationship. Are they likely to turn it into a larger issue that requires more than your intervention?

That said, she won't move to take the crate just yet, but she does give him a faint nod when he steps away from it, acknowledging that, yeah, cool, she gets it.
Regarding Vander and Silco, though... ]
Doubtful. Vander's gone soft. I wouldn't underestimate him, but he isn't in the business of causing problems anymore. If he targets anyone, it'll only be me or Silco.
[ What that implies, she won't say. Damian seems sharp. He can figure it out. ]
Which leaves Silco, who I can manage. That's essentially been my job for the past seven years, so no real change there.

Understood.
( the names get categorized, shoved together in a neat little box of "same worlders" - or close enough to recognize one another. they're not the only group here who are familiar with one another - just among the noisier ones. given her managing both vander and silco when they started bickering with each other like toddlers on a public forum - damian will remember that this "SV" is likely who he should call upon if they start getting too rowdy. )
Thank you for the information. I'll keep it in mind.

[ And that's the end of that. Sevika steps away from the table and then over to the crate, snagging it by the handle and picking it up with no real trouble. ]
Thanks for the crate, kid. Now if you'll excuse me, I have something really stupid to go do.
[ Which, surprisingly, doesn't involve the poro. She'll drop the crate off on the way to the aforementioned stupid thing, but it will, inevitably, be real damn stupid. On that note, she turns to head out. ]
