hey there,

first of all I wanted to say thank you to everyone who came to my party last month, and a huge thank you to gorgug for helping me out. I really had a lot of fun with everyone and getting to know each of you a little better.

on that note, I got to know some of you a lot better, and it made me realize we all have something in common. the need for human connection and support for all of the things that seem to bother us or have us concerned. So I had a bit of an idea, especially since it seems I'm going to be in Etraya for a while.

back home I worked for a while at a youth crises center as the person who answered calls and helped out others. I want to offer something similar here, and while I know it's tricky to keep things anonymous, it looks like I'm able to get a dedicated line for this. I also wanted to setup a little hub for those who want to talk and share in person. I can't offer advice, but I can offer a shoulder to lean on and someone to vent to (me!)

so I guess I'm just asking for another favor again- if anyone has any items they can donate, or help me find items to spruce up the office I'd appreciate it. I want to create a warm and safe environment for anyone who wants to swing by. let me know your thoughts too! I can use any and all help.

floriography isn't my specialty or anything, but I like them enough to know what certain ones mean and all that to help send the right message

flowers huh? I think that's actually a great idea. it could really help provide a good environment for the 'office'. it won't be too much of a burden to source them will it?

and thanks, I mean I just...it's hard to say why but I felt like a lot of people could use someone to talk to, to vent. at my party it just seemed that way.

As long as you aren't trying to get rid of old junk through this 'donation' I'll happily accept it.

If I wanted to go hunting for old crap, I would have gone to the junkyard myself. So while you're there, try and keep an eye out for pristine items that ended up there. No rugs, couches, or anything that could be filled with critters.

If it was pristine when it was dropped off, it's not going to be pristine now. Sometimes there's hidden treasures in a junkyard. You're not giving the three-legged table a fair chance.

Okay okay, I want to see a picture before committing to anything. I just don't want anyone visiting to be too busy scratching themselves to be able to talk properly.

( as the next response comes in video, heather finally makes her appearance with short messy blonde hair and roots that needed some touching up. wearing a hoodie, she closed in on her screen and looked at the table closely before speaking up. )

Is it just me or does it look kinda....like it's leaning to one side more than the other?

you know, you don't just have to stop by with a plant.

( she's going to put aside any talk of flowers right now because her mind is running wild trying to figure out what rosie means by that exactly.

oh, Smokey gets on alright with them
but I was taking care of them before I got him, so
sometimes I go on my own still

back when all that black goop started happening for a bit
some of the wolves got infected
so I wanted to make sure the others were okay

[ And despite her trying to communicate with them, too, they'd been... unreachable. She can't speak to them directly or anything, but- Like recognizes like, maybe, and the regular wolves don't mind her company. ]

The last time I bared my soul to a woman, it didn't go very well. And you don't need to listen to me bitch about how much I dislike this place.

It is.

[Which isn't great for a table to do.]

But I can fix it! I just need to find some wood, some glue, and a clamp.

[One might argue this is a lot of effort to save just one table.]

Wait can you fix things? Not just like taping together stuff with bubble gum and wishes, right?

( she has no right to distrust this stranger but-

you know what? she barely trusts herself not to break things in her own home she's made here. if he can do it, she'll have to hire him for future services. )

[And he flashes a confident smile at that. So maybe woodworking isn't his expertise, he knows the basics enough to fix something like this.]

You can thank me after I get it done. It'd be nice if there was some sort of woodshop here with these things ready to go, but if I can't even find a forge...

[He's much more comfortable working with metals than wood.]
