Hi, everyone.

We all know we're probably heading into a new mission soon, and at this point we've spent a lot of time working together and learning about each other. I know we'd all like to be able to plan ahead, but without knowing what the mission will be until it comes, the only way to get started is to figure out what kind of assets and abilities we have available.

If you're willing, check in and let everyone know what skills, talents, powers, or other abilities you have.

No one has to participate. But if we all can get a better idea of what we can do, we can try to plan ahead, form teams between people with complementary abilities.

I'll start: hi, I'm Nightwing, and while I'm a normal powerless human, I can offer hand to hand combat, acrobatic, and detective skills, and — uh —

I can offer a good ear to those who need someone to listen... I am still a priest, I suppose. [ :) ] Although, I would say that Heather Mason girl probably is better at it than I am... since her manner of listening and helping is more secular.

[ Let it not be said he doesn't promote when he can. ]

Still, I do feel bad just hiding behind someone... will they forgive me for it, you think?

Believe me when I say, Vincent... or do you prefer 'Father?'

Offering a listening ear and a few kind words or some advice can sometimes be the most helpful thing of all.

[ He misses Alfred so much that sometimes it's hard to breathe. ]

And if the person you're with is anything like most of the ones I know, there'd be nothing to forgive. For the ones who've dedicated themselves to protecting people who can't protect themselves, it's as much a calling as... well, as what brought you to the priesthood, I bet. So don't think of it as hiding behind someone. Think of it as letting them do what they do best.

Well, that is a nice way to put it. Makes those of us who are without power or means to fight to feel better, at least. [ Another laugh. ] I'm teasing a little bit, but no... if they're all right with it, I suppose I'll take advantage without feeling guilty, then.
