We all know we're probably heading into a new mission soon, and at this point we've spent a lot of time working together and learning about each other. I know we'd all like to be able to plan ahead, but without knowing what the mission will be until it comes, the only way to get started is to figure out what kind of assets and abilities we have available.

If you're willing, check in and let everyone know what skills, talents, powers, or other abilities you have.

No one has to participate. But if we all can get a better idea of what we can do, we can try to plan ahead, form teams between people with complementary abilities.

I'll start: hi, I'm Nightwing, and while I'm a normal powerless human, I can offer hand to hand combat, acrobatic, and detective skills, and — uh —

[It's frustrating to be in the dark about something like this. Not that he thinks Damian's holding back information, he's actually really informative despite the attitude, but just that there's little basis they can work with. Asking Aurora anything seems like a dead end, which leaves exclusively user experience which is always muddled with personal interpretations and limited perceptions.]

Now that I have assisted in telling you what has occurred, I don't want to see you meandering about like an idiot. Do not make the time I spent going over previous missions a waste.

A short summary of almost a year's worth of handling missions. Are you aware of how many individuals have been here since the beginning? It isn't many.

I thought it'd be apparent I'd be doing that.

[He doesn't want to fail. Not when there's so much at stake and not when they don't know what consequences happen if he does. If all of them do.

But the fact that's all he's being asked for— to do his best— is such a humble request from someone with clearly such high standards. Jayce exhales a quiet huff of amusement.]

( whether it's for talis' sake or damian's, he doesn't specify. that detail is unnecessary; talis doing well may or may not benefit damian, but there's an entire world depending on him, and damian intends to keep every universe from falling, if he can. even if it means dragging this man through every trial and tribulation etraya throws at them. )
