Hey. What's everyone found out about the mission?

Do we want to share what jobs we have and if we need anything? I'm working engineering in Sprawl. How are people in Dreg? I heard it's bad?

but the locomotive is locked and people are interested in getting in there. i know that

It sounds like that we're looking for on that front is passwords, PIN numbers, and card keys.

If it's a digital scan, that'll be more tricky. We'll probably need fingerprints or something harder to get a hold of.

... How good are you at glasses or firearms?

i can't make a gun on the train if that's what you're asking?

i was thinking i could make you invisible for about an hour if you need to go somewhere without being seen

but i can try and make some glasses. i can give it a go

There's no rush on any of this. I just left my gun with my niece back home, because my glasses are the wrong script. My phone is rigged to assist with reading tasks and the speech to text feature is helpful.

In other words: I'm getting used to a different status effect than I'm used to. It's annoying but I can deal for now.

Invisibility, though?

my main trick is that i like making automatons and building things in general. anything the situation calls for if i can

Automatons sound really handy. Have you thought about building a small one to sneak into places that are harder to get to?

i've been making one but i guess i didn't make it small. i could make it small

but having a small one could be fun. with a camera?

Exactly.

People make mobile cameras that they can control with a remote where I'm from. A tool like that could be really helpful in uncovering a few secrets, especially if it doesn't look too obvious.

Cameras are the most high tech that I go, but if you make yourself look like you belong wherever you're at then no one questions it.

Carrying a clipboard and jotting down notes while frowning can go a long way to getting you access, especially if you're good at acting.

And that's why drones-- the remote control cameras, are handy.

You don't need to sneak your way in, and people don't usually look up.

and okay. you can ask me if i can do something and i'll tell you. and i'll do the same

the Mothman is a folk hero from the mountains that I grew up in. He scares people away from areas that are dangerous and protects them from being hurt.

Even scary guys can save people and do good things in the world.

I didn't keep a lot of friends when I was a kid because I moved around a lot, so reading about the Mothman and other critters that people have a hard time believing in helped.

... It's not like I can do anything special. I'm just a guy, but I have a good idea about how people work.

oh okay. i've never heard about him but that sounds cool. i don't know a lot of folk stories myself. i used to draw when i didn't have a lot to do

that's a good thing to ask someone about when you're bad at guessing how people work and trying to get information from people seems like a good idea for a mission.

That's all the more reason why us guys, gals, and gender nonconforming pals need to team up.

You started a good thing with your question about what everyone knows and what everyone needs. Not everyone can get a group effort started.

someone made that post about listing abilities so i thought that's what we were doing now. sharing and helping

i don't know that it's going well but i guess i don't have anything better to do
