@justgaia | Video
[ In line with the ongoing events here. More or less. ]
[ Queue a video feed. There was probably a bit of audio, the typical noises of someone figuring out a new system and trying to find the video button. ...Aha! There is Gaia, sitting on one of the trolley cars. Behind her, mostly in frame, is Cidolfus Telemon. He probably looks okay. But Gaia's words suggest he's not. ]
I hope this is right. I'm on the blue line trolley between... the Farway stop and the next island. A man named Cid just jumped on after burning his aether to a life threatening level. Because he missed it while picking up something at a place called the Kwik Stop.
I don't have healing spells, so I'd appreciate anyone that can catch up to the trolley who might come and look him over. It's not exactly fast.
Well, if anyone's looking for him and worried, he's here.
[ She sounds more than a little bitworried exasperated. ]

I know where Stonhyrr is. It's not that far. Certainly not in such a vehicle as that 'van' of yours Gorgugg.
[ Is she still stinging from Cid's lightning? Why yes, a bit. But she's not going to bring this up yet until she sees what it takes for the healer to take care of the older man first. ]
no subject
Why do you live so far away? I guess I can get there...
[ As Gaia says, but does Gorgug sound reluctant? Yes, 'cause he still has to get there. But for now, he holds his hands out, not putting them on Cid yet. But he looks at him, and he tries to keep his voice down in some attempt to be private as he quickly asks: ]
The stuff in your body-- is it a curse? Permanent?
no subject
It’s both. It’s the crystals curse, and it causes permanent, irreversible pertrification.
[Back Home. Back home this was true. ]
Though… in this place, who’s to say?
no subject
.....Though if someone talks loud enough for her to overhear in a way she can't help, that would be a different tale. Did Cid keep his voice down?
...Well otherwise she's going to sit here and guard the beer. ]

But Gorgug responds to the last of what Cid says with a small delay, and with no more than a mmm; acknowledging, nothing else. Definitely nothing Gorgug could do, except maybe provide some small relief. ]
I have to touch you, [ is his warning before he puts his hands on Cid: one around his upper chest closing in on the more worn shoulder, and then another over the other side of his lung. It's an immediate process, mouth murmuring something wordlessly, and energy gathers from his hands and sinks into the body, aiming to provide relief and to tend against the anomalies, to ease exhaustion and stress around the sections of Cid's body that Gorgug touches.
It's not a powerful spell, not with the craft of a true healer. But Gorgug gives what he can at his level, to at least provide comfort, hopefully. He pulls his hands away after about ten to fifteen seconds, and sighs as he does so. ]
I'm not a healer. [ That was said before--he'll correct that now. ] I just do it in emergencies. I don't know if that helps.
[ The healing, he means. He does want to question Cid further, but he doesn't want to bring up something personal again, too casually. So he'll leave it at that, stepping back to give back Cid his space. But does glance over at Gaia, just to acknowledge her presence. ]

[He steps forward, closing the distance as he places a hand on the other man’s shoulder appreciatively.]
Good work. Shame it didn’t do anything.
[And then gives his shoulder a hearty pat.]
Magic is what caused it, anyway. I can’t imagine magic will fix it.
[And then he looks to Gaia with his hands on his hips.]
Are you satisfied?
no subject
Yes.
[ Her hands are also on her hips for a moment. But then she leans down and picks up the case of beer, brings it over and holds it out to Cid. Here is your
lollipop for being bravebeer back. ]Maybe next time, you could trouble someone to give you a ride if you miss the trolley?
[ Gaia also turns to meet Gorgug's look. She gives him a genuine smile. ]
Thank you for coming out.
no subject
Still, gives Gaia a quick nod, even though he's distracted, but eventually closes off the map with a knitted brow. ]
I'll drop you off where the trolley starts, around the apartments. [ Said to Cid, or really, just-- said. Unhappily. It's so far out!!! But he does look at Gaia again. ] You're not going that way?
[ She said she'd find her own way, or something--? ]
no subject
[As he looks back to Gaia for confirmation of this very fact before taking his case of beer.]

The girl throws up her arms as Cid adds in the mention that she'd promised a ride to where the man was going. ]
Oh for the love of... Fine. It just so happens I know where Stonhyrr is since I visited it before. I'll send you there.
[ She rolls her eyes. Visibly and eyes both of them. ]
Satisfied?
no subject
[Okay. So she really is just Barnabas, right?]
… Alright. Let’s see it.
no subject
Fine.
[ And it doesn't take her long. Some focus, some gesticulating and the gathering of aether before something that's probably like a portal opens. It more resembles a billowing cloud of shadows than a simple 'door' or 'circle' to walk through.
It's perfectly safe, surely. ]
It's just before the bridge into Stonhyrr. I'm not about to put you right into Barnabas's lap without permission.
[ Well there's also all that ambient levin aether she didn't want to contend with making allowances or protections to keep the connection stable for. But mostly, it's about whether or not Cid would be an actual welcome visitor at this time. Probably. ]
