Yeah, wow, I really don’t think anyone is learning anything here… like, school-wise. ( they say you don’t notices the pitfalls of parenthood until you have inter-dimensional alien children of your own… )
I mean, we should fix that, right? We can’t let people stagnate while they’re here. They should be learning stuff between, you know— train espionage.
( this place is so goddamn weird!!! )
So— can anyone teach chemistry?

[He does not mention the blades in her hands.]
I met her on the train. She seemed interested in learning.
[And she's also the youngest kid he's seen here. If the teenagers want to skip an education, that's on them, but someone that young really should be in school.]

( texted, he means. )
I know she's young, though. That's sorta why I want to do something like this. This place is full of all kids of people. We got grown-ups, mammoths, robots, kids, cannibals, teens... We ought'a have something for everyone, don't you think? School included?

CANNIBALS?

( WHEN IN DOUBT, PLAY DUMB. )
Cannibals? Like, as a concept?

All I heard was from a friend of a friend, and me and that friend aren't even really friends. He's just a dude. A cool dude. Probably not a liar or anything, but—
It's literally probably nothing.

How about a do-over?

This place is full of all kinds of people. We've got grown-ups, teens, humans, mammoths, robots, kids, mutants, people from similar worlds, people from totally different world, NONE of whom are cannibals, not even in the slightest—
—so, school is a good idea. Bringing people together is a good idea.

But again, if I'm pretending you misspoke, then it sounds like a good idea on paper. Logistically, organizing a school is a lot more work than it seems.
So here's what I'm offering: one class, once a month, for anyone with an interest in classical mechanics, physics, mechanical engineering, metalsmithing, and blueprint reading and design. I'll change up what the curriculum is, but if there's going to be kids, I'll need to know ahead of time to make sure it's something on their level too. And I have the right to kick anyone out if they're being an ass or dangerous.
Good enough?
