It's good to return to my former splendor. I know not to bite the hand that feeds me, but being treated as less than an honest Lord plucked at my ego.

I'll be right back. Don't disappear. [Kexing drops a kiss on Zishu's forehead before scurrying off. He will return with pots of various sizes and a watering can! He got lucky.]

Let's see which ones would play nice in the same pot.

[He takes out each of their bags and peeks inside.]

Poor little things. We can perch them on the window.

[A certain little monster flops onto Zishu's lap, body wiggling as if it is wagging its tail. Or...lack of tail.]

I'll be right here where you've put me, Lao Wen. [ He promises playfully. Taking the time he waits, he pulls out each of the items they'd gathered.

Seeing the bounty his silly love returns with makes him grin. ]

Perfect.

[ The little monster gets scooped up and cuddled. ]

Hello little one, did you miss us?

Promise~? [He flashes Zishu a cheeky grin and then gathers all he can hold. He uses the soil they gathered to plant each seedling, checking for moisture as he goes.]

Aw, did someone have a nice sleep?

[The chaos baby flails their little feet and then flops against Zishu. Yes! Very much yes!]

Would I lie to my Fated One? [ He widens his eyes dramatically as if wounded...before grinning helplessly.

Zishu tickles the chaos baby's tummy? sides? playfully as Kexing tends to the seedlings. ]

It seems well rested, yes.

No. [He gasps and quickly leans in to kiss that wounded look away! A-Xu!] You're teasing your poor Lao Wen!

[Either way, the baby wiggles as if laughing! Kexing grins up at the pair.]

Good boy! Did you know he's based on a chaos god, A-Xu? Isn't that cute?

[ He grins into his beloved's eyes and kisses back. ] Yes~

[ Zishu beams down at the little one and hugs it close again. It's ridiculous how ugly yet cute it is - of course they've kept it! ]

He's perfect for us.

I knew it. [He can't frown or pout, however. Not when Zishu is kissing him!] You fiend.

[The baby seems very content to be held and snuggled. No matter their form, they have a cute, playful spirit about them. Kexing adds water to some of the pots, humming.]

He's perfect as he is. I'm relieved he didn't end up with someone awful.

[ Zishu's perfectly happy to keep snuggling the silly little monster. He likes the chaos baby's spirit. ]
