There are a few ways characters can interact with this:
Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional.
When forms are not filled out, they are filled out by the companion bots of Etraya! This means that while the character themself is not choosing to play with CHIRPER, their player still can.
Other characters can be prompted to fill out their friends' profiles for them.
Alternatively, they choose not to fill out the form, and it remains unfilled!
This is just a fun little way of expanding CR. For those who do post a top level, CHIRPER toplevels are worth five extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These five extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.
Once characters' profiles are up, other characters will be given the option of giving them a "like" or a "dislike" (using ✓ and ✕ symbols in the subject line of the comment) but they can also provide an answer as to why they gave that answer! Or just respond to the contents of their profile, +1ing the fact that if Barnabas were to get laid more often, maybe he would be less of a sourpuss.

Hello. My name is Aurora. My duty is to oversee your comfort and the daily workings of Etraya, as well as provide information for upcoming missions.
Let it be known that I am only responding to this so some nonsense isn't written.
But if you must know, my main interests are learning about scientific discoveries, the technology of other worlds and this one as well, techmaturgy, and magic from other worlds. There is a focused interest in learning coding and robotics if that is something you are familiar with.
If you're looking for idle conversation I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Friendships are...hm, difficult. [ Messy. They are not at all his strong suit!! Considering how closed off Viktor tends to be, it's really not so strange that he finds friendships to be troublesome. But, also, how many friends did he have back home outside of Jayce? Probably none but who knows! ] Talking strictly about related interests is something that comes easier to me.
[ Maybe he doesn't want to talk to people about personal things and stuff that comes with friendship?? Maybe he's also thinking about the fact that he's dying and doesn't want to have that many people close to him to have to deal with that!! So, strictly professional and interest-related-only convos, thanks!! ]

But then doesn’t it feel less like a friendship, and more like a transaction? We became friends because we had idle conversations, alongside our shared interests. Now I know how you take your coffee, and you know what kind of hair gel I like to use.
That is because we understood one another from the very beginning, quite well, I might add. [ Among other things but Viktor isn't going to get into it on here. ]
It's different when it comes to others. [ Viktor's always been an outcast and like disregarded his entire life so finding people like Jayce who just simply get him is difficult, if not impossible, and that is perhaps another reason for his hesitance. ]
You have to realize that it's off-putting. Even for those of us with similar interests, I'm not that dialed into it at all times. It's nice to come up for air for a joke.

Sweets? Yeah, I like peanut chews and salt water taffy. I haven't tried them out here. I figure they'll be like the building. Never as good as you remember.
i go to school for artificing. that's what we call our techmaturgy? i build magic powered robots. but i've been learning non magic types that rely on computer coding and not magic based coding
yeah, i've been reading books from there too. i can let you read some of the books i got from aurora too if we like hanging out and learning together? she knew i was interested in robotics
we should do it here!! like, sure the constellations are different, but I live somewhere kind of away from the main city now, so it'd probably be nice for stargazing
I don't, but I could get one!! Aurora doesn't mind giving us stuff if we're, like, helping out around here and all that I've probably got enough influence to swing a telescope
