PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Hello Etraya, a few of the newest arrivals are originally from wherever we told you we're from, but before coming here we were in Etraya's sister city, Solmara. Solmara has overthrown their AI and is ruled by a woman named Alrys. She sent us here on a recon mission to steal supplies, and while some of us were considering it, upon arrival we decided not to.

I can't speak for the others, but I know for a fact if Alrys got wind of what this place is like, she'd start a war. I'm not interested, not because I'm kind and noble (I'm not) but because making two whole cities miserable would be stupid.

Aurora has been informed of everything, but in the interest of transparency I'm letting the rest of you know too.

We will be answering questions but only if they're not stupid and you're super nice about it. Keep in mind we're probably gonna get tortured then killed then tortured again for snitching. 😃❤️🥳👍🚀🦈

PS: Any magical healers out there?

Didn’t get to know much of anything. Was dragged into her shit near the end of my year in Solmara. Kept to myself until she finally found me.

Took my supplies, my bike. Denied me rations. Starved me out.
Either you join her, or you go hungry.

So, they dragged you out, forced you into this mission, but what about getting back? What was the plan?

Not sure. She wasn't specific.
She never bothered to tell me how we'd be getting in either.

But they knew I wanted my things back.
Best way to get them would've been to succeed.
And if I failed, I'd be a small loss.

Just wish you could give me a better picture of Solmara part from "it's shit." It is what it is, I guess.

My picture of Solmara was avoiding the people there til I couldn't.
Maybe her point was to send people who couldn't tell Etraya much.

Heard once about scouting machines. Used them in old wars in my world. They operated them remotely. Someone could make some.

Etraya does have enough machinists to make that potentially feasible.

Question remains about HOW to send anything there, much less anyone else.
