[He comes to a halt before the dummies and stands straight, a living weapon.]

[The fan is unveiled in full and with a slash, it takes off one head, another, another - a whole line of them - before it returns to Wen Kexing's hand.]

[ Zishu watches Kexing with a fond little smile, waiting for his silly husband to work out some of his irritation and threat on the dummies. But more just enjoying the show. ]

I think they get the picture, Lao Wen.

[There he is! Kexing practically glows as he beams at Zishu, fanning himself as if his main weapon is just something to circulate the air.]

I could make it clearer. Should I add red paint?

[fated_dance]

[ His eyes soften just a little before he smirks teasingly. ]

Why not paint the dummies like peacocks?

Aren't I the peacock? Is A-Xu angry with his bird husband?

[He gapes as if horrified. How could he not know?!]

Ridiculous.

[ He clicks his tongue and rolls his eyes before stalking over to stand in his love's space. ]

How could I be angry with my Lao Wen?

[ghostlord]

[What a handsome face! Kexing is taken off-guard and then he smiles from ear to ear.]

I trust you to be honest with me, my A-Xu. If you're not angry with me, give your peacock a kiss.

[fated_dance]

[ He chuckles suddenly at that bright smile and beams, helpless against Kexing's light. ]

Ah? That sounds like a challenge.

[ Not that he minds! Zishu closes the gap between them and claims those soft, playful lips in a kiss. ]

[He stands very still with his lips pursed. He's ready!]

...mm maybe?

[Kexing sighs against Zishu's lips and returns the pressure, pulling his soulmate into his arms.]

It's a good challenge, isn't it?

[ Humming quietly, he steps into those arms and leans into his beloved's embrace to deepen the kiss for a moment before nibbling on Kexing's lips. ]

Do I need a reason to kiss you?

[ghostlord]

[Be still his heart! His A-Xu is warm in his arms, giving him kisses! His life has never been better.]

No. Not a single reason at all.

[He deepens the kiss again, licking at Zishu's lips.]

But I have my reasons for kissing you.

[fated_dance]

[ Oh no! That heart must keep beating! Strong and steady. Zishu smiles into his love's eyes and nuzzles their lips playfully together before pressing into the next deep kiss. His arms curl possessively around Kexing. ]

Aah? Do I get to know them?

[ghostlord]

[Kexing's heart has to keep beating for as long as Zishu lives. It's a given. It's a must. He is stubborn enough to make it happen, too.

He smiles slowly, temptingly, and presses soft kisses over Zishu's cheeks.]

I will tell you one: because you are mine.

[fated_dance]

[ They both are. Now that Kexing has healed what Zishu had done to himself, they will live on as long as the other does.

Zishu grins at the tempting smile and those soft kisses. But the reason he's given melts his heart and he gazes serenely into his beloved's eyes. Reminding himself of the peace he's come to find there. ]

Yes. I am. And you are mine.

[ghostlord]

[Zishu now has a guardian, someone who loves him sincerely and passionately. He is not allowed to harm himself - with weapons, with nails, with drink. All of it is disallowed unless Zishu is open to Kexing harming himself too.]

I have belonged to A-Xu my whole life.

[He spins them with a giddy smile.]

Did our child try to follow you this morning? He is getting better at using his legs.

[fated_dance]

[ As does Kexing. Just as fiercely. Just as sincerely. Zishu nudges their noses together before laughing as they spin. He doesn't clutch at his silly Lao Wen. He won't be dropped. ]

Aah. He did. Each day he's a little less clumsy.

[ But still strangely cute! ]

I have been giving him lessons. [Kexing beams proudly and sets his darling safely back on his feet. Of course he won't drop his A-Xu! That's just crazy.]

He stretches his legs everyday and then he lets me rub his belly.
