I have never heard of any of these places, but that's probably because your world is entirely different than mine. How does it compare to being here?

The differences are great. The technology here is far more commonly utilized and stranger than that which my world has grown accustom.

This world lacks crystals as I know them.

Some of the technology here is a bit more futuristic than it was when I'm originally from, but I like it. Have you been settling in okay?

We had crystals in Hawkins, too, but I'm assuming they're not the same kind of crystals.
