Hello, citizens of Etraya.

Our next mission will begin on Friday, May 16th. For this mission, we will not be heading off world as the last couple missions have required. Instead, the companion bots and I will be working over the next seven days to set up Camp Etraya on Ochreward for all of you to attend. This camp will include multiple activities which will be mandatory for you to participate in. Additionally, while I will not be creating a barrier between camp and the rest of Etraya, the expectation will be for all of you to remain within the camp's radius during your time at Camp Etraya.

However, I understand that some of you have come from Solmara, and there is some concern regarding my sibling's absence within our sister city. I too am concerned for their well-being, as well as the rest of the citizens of Solmara. I would like to shift some of my resources to send a team to Solmara to address this, but this is not in an official mission capacity. This is not required, and will be on a volunteer-only basis. I will only be able to allocate enough resources to support transporting fifteen individuals to Solmara. I can provide some basic necessities to assist you in your trip, but will not be able to provide much more in terms of support. You will be on your own as soon as you arrive within Solmara. You will need to rely on one another, and you will need to return with enough time to fulfill five days worth of camp activities to ensure you are not avoiding mandatory mission requirements. If you are unable to return on time, there will be repercussions.

Please inform me if you wish to assist the Solmarans here. If there are more than fifteen volunteers, I will select from those who request to go.

That little guy sounds useful. Bombs, too, although I think Jinx may be working on something. We'll see.

I'd trust little enough about Jinx save her skill with explosives. If she's volunteered to make bombs, I've no doubt they'll more than get the job done, though there are also good odds they'll be loud, colourful, and showy. Jinx is not subtle.

most do, but you can make bombs that explode out sticky web, acid, light, electric

some bombs can make a room silent.

If you'd like details about what she's capable of, you could try asking her yourself, though you're not guaranteed to get the truth. Or any straight answer at all, for that matter.

I can tell you what I've encountered: a large fire that, shortly thereafter, became a massive fireball, and a dozen or more small bombs disguised as insects that each yielded a considerable explosion. And bright green fireworks.

I don't know whether she can make the other sorts of bombs you described. If you have the time, I'm certain we could put them to good use. Perhaps smoke bombs, as well, to provide us with cover.

You can ignore the cop. She thinks she knows everything. Jinx can make pretty much anything she feels like, so I won't know what I get until I use it. It's usually deadly, but it could also just be a fucking paint bomb if she's feeling flighty.

i can make something that disguises you for a while. if you want to try and get info under different faces. just for a couple of hours, but i can make more if the item stops working.

i don't make it often but i can work at it so we have a good few before we go if you think it's a good idea. and if there's other people who sound like they can use them

If Solmara is anything like here, showing up with a new face or even trying to pretend to be someone there is risky. I could see disguises being useful for slipping by, but talking to people? That's a no. Only ones I would consider contacting are the people on the outskirts who want nothing to do with Alyrs and even they might still shoot us.

[ Talking is useful, but probably not in this situation. She can't see them strolling into the center of Solmara and asking questions. It'd be noticed too fast. ]

Okay. I can still make it for slipping by, but I can focus on other stuff too.

Is there anything you need gear wise?

We know supplies are limited on Solmara's side. Something that lets us carry a lot without drawing attention to ourselves, to keep food and water in, and extra supplies for trading if we end up having to bribe people. Ways to take people out safely. Something that blocks whatever the hell Alrys can do. Charm powers? Mind powers? Only we don't know exactly, so that would be us shooting blind.

Okay, I can look into all of that. I haven't found a lot about charm resistances on what I've got but I'll see what I can do. Some resistance.

I know I can make tasers and tranquillizer bullets. They still hurt but they're better than dying. And maybe batons?

You know. The stupid little gift I got when all those packages were lying around was an undercity rebreather. What about sleep gas? Could be useful for me in a tight spot.

I've never made one of those in gas forms. I can experiment. I'll see what I'm making and if I have the time. But [ oh god he's going to have to ask some friends to get gas'd and hope he doesn't kill anyone ] if I do I'll ask you to come and help me test it?
