[ Please, he isn't a lunatic. He's slowly wearing people down that he thinks would be good members over the months than casually asking if they wanna join a cult. It's all very time-consuming, but hopefully, it'll bear fruit.

But hm, hm -- he supposes he can share a little. Nothing too damning, anyway. As much as he is an unpleasant person (and aware of being an unpleasant person), there is a difference between being disliked and being a threat. ]

What kind of religion is it? I'm a Buddhist myself, I'm sure it's not anywhere near being similar but....

( especially considering buddhists didn't usually do card readings but alas, if they ever do get close enough, maybe he'll learn why she'd know how to do such a thing. )

The Order of the Holy Woman... it has its sacraments and believes in one God.

[ As he will tell Claudia, they don't need to hide so much of what they are here. But they shouldn't share too much, either. ]

I don't know much about Buddhism, unfortunately.

[ He knows a lot about Catholicism, but that is only because he needed to know so much to hide under the guise of being a Catholic priest to tourists and outsiders who would come to the church. If they recognized the lie for what it was, it'd just breed more questions. ]

She is a deity, yes. She is the one that we call God.

You know, most religions in my world don't refer to God as a woman. I must admit such a deviation in what's normal for me is quite interesting. Is there a reason why you refer to her as a she?

Most religions are -- [ He is making a gesture with his hand but hey, they're still on voice so. But it is loud enough with how his hands are flapping around. ]

-- as for the reason why, it's because She is Her. [ Well. ] To put more plainly, we believe humanity existed before God. God was created by our fevered prayers for something beyond ourselves. She came into being and gifted us miracles to better our lives.

( while she's still unaware that he's technically speaking of a cult here rather than a normal and established religion, she can't help but make a small noise in amusement. there was something almost positive in the way he referred to his god as a woman; though she held back on any compliments. after all that didn't mean he held women in higher regard because his god was one.

This is all quite....interesting. Would you be offended if I invited you to a cup of tea? I'd like to lean more you see, I like to be aware of things in the world and learning about different worlds is something I've quite become interested in.
