Oh, that's a tricky one... Probably the first time I got to see the stars again after a long time of being unable to! That was nice.

From home, there isn't a ton I miss I can't get here? If anything, I just miss my friends. But I wouldn't wish for them to end up here either.

Seeing anything after you believe you may never see it again does tend to provoke strong feelings. How long were you kept from the stars?

[ ... You know, that's a good question. It was hard to tell when she'd been brought into the ring. The 70s? More Than A Feeling by Boston had been out long enough to gain popularity in the states so- Yeah. The 70s. Which means, by her time frame: ]

Probably ten years or so? Somewhere about there.

How did you feel the first time you saw the Milky Way after your ordeal?

[ Or so Clea assumes. Anything that keeps one from the night sky for such a time must have been an ordeal. ]

[ She assumes correctly. An 'ordeal' might even be... kind of understatement, really, but there again- Rosie is known to understate things. ]

Amazing. The city I was in, at first, there was too much light pollution to really see but... Eventually, I was able to go out into a big open field with nothing around for miles and just look. It was the best.

There is nothing quite an unencumbered view of the night sky. I remember the first time I left the city and saw it plainly. The differences are astounding, as is the thought that in the time of my Grand-Maman, everyone saw the night sky truly. Something so foundational has changed in such a quick time.
