un: CliveRosfield | Video - Backdated to 7/5, late morning
[The video turns on to show Clive outdoors. He seems to be walking rather quickly as he speaks so the video is a little shaky.]
Forgive me if the quality of this video is not great. It’s my first time doing this, but I have a message for the community.
At midday, there will be a battle in the Ochreward area. This is a planned event and there is nothing to be alarmed of. You will likely see and hear two giant creatures fighting. One will be a dragon and the other a dark knight upon his steed. Please say well clear of the area. While this is just a spar for them, it can very quickly become deadly for anyone who is too close or tries to intervene.
If the dragon sees you and can, he’ll likely do what he can to avoid hitting you. The knight will not. Don’t take the risk.
I repeat: do not approach the area. It will be unsafe for you. This isn’t a fun event to come gawk at. This is two highly skilled warriors testing their mettle against one another.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let me know, and I will do my best to help you. I will be near the area where the spar is happening in an effort to prevent anyone from interrupting if the request needs to be made in person, but it would be safer if you asked here instead.
[ooc: You can find the log here.]

{ I'm at your disposal if I can help. Do you know the high-low for this, in case of the best and worst eventualities?
I'm sending the hospital a message now, to request it has bots standing by in the event of any unfortunate accidents from participants or those who may take your warning as an invitation. }

Best case scenario, they get through their spar to the most satisfaction that either of them are going to acheive or when they wear themselves out. No one gets in the way, no one gets hurt other than whatever damage they take from each other. This isn't the first time they have met on the battlefield. It will be the first time the dragon, Dion, will not have to hold back out of fear of hurting his own soldiers, though.
Worst case scenario, and I mean absolute worst case that is very unlikely but never zero, one of them either gets too into it or loses control and does damage outside of the region they are in. Which would cause a lot of problems both for the safety of people here and structural damage. That being said, I don't think that either of them are in a place where that would happen. Dion has a very level head and has over a decade of battlefield experience and Barnabas has some of the most astounding control I have ever seen in my life.
Based on what I have seen so far, the most likely case is people aren't going to listen to me and get too close and get hurt or killed by getting in the way.

[ Like people—especially kids—idiotically do.
A finger taps. Thinking. ]
{ You should be arriving before any of them, correct? Is there a way for you to demarcate a line they shouldn't cross beyond the Trolley stop that would put them at a safe enough distance this time, until something better can be devised for the next? }
[ Yes. Of course. She's reading your other pieces.
This is public.
So was Vander's subtle dig at her family.](lets be real, Clive has been voice to texting this whole time)
I'm arriving now. I'll do my best to mark a barrier of some kind, but when some of the abilities are basically long range laserbeams of light magic, sometimes that might be a little difficult to enforce.
[As he is responding, Clive is doing his best to judge as safe a distance as possible. With a silent apology to Aurora, he summons Titan's gauntlet and slams his fist into the ground, creating as much of a wall of stone as he can manage. He repeats this a couple of times before going back to where he can easily see Barnabas and Dion. He'll dissipate the stone when all fo this is over.]
Made a fence of rock. Hopefully that helps.
(of course he has, no one would ever doubt he hasn't)
Cool, cool, cool.
Long. Range. Lasers.
Oracle has opinions, sir. ]
{ Sounds good. Anything is better than nothing right now.
Where will you be needed during it?
Do you have a job or have to watch it? }

I'm at the battle. I was asked to come and keep an eye on them and let the community know that it is happening.

A lot of what happens right now is making a list.
It's not significantly harder to hack a HUD for tracking purposes than it is to hack a phone. One of her maps tossed up is following the dots moving that direction. Currently, toward the trolley stops, and any other fast northward movement. (She'll get to its built-in live camera network function in a minute.) Her fingers are flying, but her words are still as silent and orderly. ]
{ You said above that you expect this will be a repeating engagement among your collective, yes? }

I have suggestions that I can share with you later, but there's a great chance revision dependant on the other powers among the rest of you, so that whatever is implemented will befit the whole of potential circumstances. }

[If you're going to talk about him, at least address him correctly. He doesn't really care about the other speculative nonsense about his character to comment, but show him proper courtesy and respect!]
