Forgive me if the quality of this video is not great. It’s my first time doing this, but I have a message for the community.

At midday, there will be a battle in the Ochreward area. This is a planned event and there is nothing to be alarmed of. You will likely see and hear two giant creatures fighting. One will be a dragon and the other a dark knight upon his steed. Please say well clear of the area. While this is just a spar for them, it can very quickly become deadly for anyone who is too close or tries to intervene.

If the dragon sees you and can, he’ll likely do what he can to avoid hitting you. The knight will not. Don’t take the risk.

I repeat: do not approach the area. It will be unsafe for you. This isn’t a fun event to come gawk at. This is two highly skilled warriors testing their mettle against one another.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let me know, and I will do my best to help you. I will be near the area where the spar is happening in an effort to prevent anyone from interrupting if the request needs to be made in person, but it would be safer if you asked here instead.

Dion is one of the most upstanding men I have ever had the pleasure to know. He wouldn't do anything to intentionally harm innocents. I'll be right here to help make sure things don't get out of hand.

And you can take on a dragon and a knight if both decide they're tired of fighting each other? By yourself?

He is the Dominant of Bahamut. So he can turn into a dragon. It's a lot to explain. Meet me for coffee and I can do that once all of this is done and I am not having to worry about keeping kids from doing dumb stuff.

Dion is a reasonable person. If I tell him that people are in danger, he will back off. Barnabas I would have to finesse a bit. But if there is no fight, he won't have any interest in staying.

[No one has yet to best Barnabas, but Clive isn't gonna tell this guy that.]

[ Vax wonders if he's being counted as one of those 'kids doing dumb stuff'. He's sure this fight will be a spectacle others will want to see, though. Especially if they've never laid eyes on a dragon. It must be nice to do so without your blood running cold. ]

Pretty much. Dion wants to see how much he can do to Barnabas when he doesn't have to worry about holding back to protect his men from harm.

Sounds like there's a history there.

Oh there is. They have clashed on the battlefield a couple of times back home. Dion’s country and Barnabas’ don’t really get along.

Barnabas is the strongest warrior I have ever met in my life. He has immense power and a control over it that is so acute that he has cut me basically to ribbons without hitting a single spot that would truly kill me. Twice. He can sever existence itself. He also has an unshakable conviction in what he is doing so if there are people between him and what his goals are he will cut them down. Maybe not kill them depending on who they are, but they’ll go down. He has never lost a fight and despite Dion’s own immense strength, I sincerely doubt he will lose this one. He is controlled destruction, conviction, and drive.

This is the first time I have seen him Prime in person.

Wow. He sounds terrifying. You're not exactly filling me with confidence that you could stop the fight if you needed to.

I'm guessing 'prime' means he's going all-out.

I don’t think he likes destruction for destructions sake. It needs to have a purpose. So it’ll be focused on Dion. If something happens and I need to step in, I believe between Dion and I, we could at least get him farther away from people.

He also wouldn’t want me to die so I can probably leverage that.

Yeah. That’s the term for us fully channeling our Eikons. Aka transforming.

Does that mean you can transform as well? Is that normal for your world?

I can and no. It is very rare. There were 8 of us back home which is way more than normal. In the point in time I come from, three of them are dead.

Right now there are 5 of us here than can transform. 6 if you count the horse but he isn’t technically an Eikon. From my understanding he doesn’t transform unless Barnabas does.

Rare, but of all the people in your world, those who can transform were chosen to be here. That can't be a coincidence.

We're of the same mind there. One of the people here is one of the people who died. That threw me, but I was told this place doesn't follow any particular rules when it comes to time.

I've also heard of that. People arriving here who died at home. Must be weird.
