un: strife | video + action - Etraya de Chocobo!
I. Chocobo Ranch Announcement (video)
[This video message might inspire a bit of deja vu, because here's Cloud again on the network with his chocobo chick, though the chick is quite a bit bigger now than it was last time. Now, there's also a yellow adult chocobo with a saddle and bridle, and the backdrop is not his apartment but what looks like a farm of some kind.]
Hey. So...this is a chocobo ranch that came from my Planet. Showed up in Nevergrey, so I asked Aurora about putting in all the supplies and equipment it had back home, and she did.
So I figured, might as well run it.
[The chocobos 'kweh' in unison and do a little happy dance, which looks scripted but absolutely is not, judging from the slightly skeptical look Cloud shoots them. Well, chocobos gonna chocobo.]
Uh...anyway, we got stable space for rent, feed and other stuff for taking care of the birds for sale, and accessories with a place where you can try 'em out and see what works best for your chocobo. There's a vending machine with some potions and materia in it, too. Once I get a chance to go out and round 'em up, there'll be birds for rent, too.
And yeah, I know there's no money. Anybody who's hired me before knows I work for trade or services. Speaking of, still available for deliveries, odd jobs, deadly pest control - the usual. Gonna move into the farmhouse here, so you know where to find me.
II. Grand Opening! (action)
Just kidding - there's no actual 'grand opening' event, because this is Cloud and he doesn't do parties or anything adjacent to them. But the ranch is now open for business, and if anyone else feels like gathering a group and arriving en masse, well, not like he can stop them.
A simple wooden fence encircles a small ranch for raising, keeping, riding, training, and renting out chocobos. Cloud didn't advertise riding lessons, but if asked, he could probably be talked into giving them. Much of the land is taken up by the large, grassy corral in the center, where the chocobos can run around, dance, and entertain themselves during the day - though the only birds there right now are Cloud's two. Just inside the fence to the left, there's a rest stop that includes a comfy bench, restrooms, and a vending machine containing snacks, drinks, various types of potions, basic materia with a few accessories designed for mounting those materia in, and booster packs of Queen's Blood cards.
Further from the entrance is a large barn beside a tall grain silo. Inside the barn there are stalls where the chocobos will eat, sleep, and get groomed. There's also a shop that sells various kinds of bird feed, greens and other treats, tack, accessories, and supplies, as well as a Chocoboutique where visitors can dress their chocobos up in those fancy new duds they just bought. Yes, that's what it's called - there's a sign that says so. No, Cloud did not name it himself.
Currently, the only workers here other than Cloud himself are bots, but Cloud is far from confident in their abilities, so he'll take over relevant tasks himself if he can whenever a customer arrives.
The rest of the grounds are dotted with sheds and stables of varying sizes, and there's a farmhouse with enough space for a large family to live in opposite the rest stop on the other side of the ranch.

It almost feels like this is a game we're being forced into with false promises to keep us going. I'm not about to jeopardize my world over it, but I personally find that rather ... distressing.
