Does anyone know a way to summon a god? Preferably one that is beginner friendly. [He pauses, then adds.] I suppose a method for summoning spirits may be suitable as well.

He takes a piece of clementine and puts it into his mouth...then makes a face when he chews it. He looks down at the fruit as if he had been betrayed by it.]

I taught him the celestial summoning from where I'm from. He doesn't have the spiritual energy to perform it so I was going to slowly siphon some into something he could carry and eat when he needs it.

Spiritual energy can be used for many things...though I haven't met anyone else yet who seems like they might know how to use it.

It's not too complicated. Circling the spiritual energy in your body in certain patterns combined with the right words will create different effects.

Right, but I was wondering about a solution for those of us who don't do that sort of thing. A pre-patterned energy form, basically.

Think of it as a one-time spell in physical form. Someone who knows how can make a spell they can cast into a liquid which anyone can drink to gain the effects of the spell.

Oh. That sounds convenient. Can you make a potion with any spell?

Not strong ones, and they have to actually affect a person directly. You can't make a potion of fireball, because it just explodes in an area.

It would also really suck to drink.

...that would be terrible. [but also...] Does it need to be drunk? If you threw it would it still work?

There are some alchemical flasks that'll do that, although not with anywhere near the force of a spell. For actual magic, it's a lot harder to distill something like that, as I understand it. Needs to be done a different way.

Very. I am not a spellcaster and never want to even come close. Too much stuff like that to worry about.

It's nothing intricate. If Zhao Muya were here he could probably create a simplified version on his own.

I'd say it's more than most people can do. Hell, I'd put it beyond both the actual arcane casters I worked with back in the day.

...you really are giving me too much credit. I'm generally only good at solving the problems I can hit. I'm sure the arcane casters you knew probably understood what they were doing more than I do.

One was a warmage and only knew how to interact with the world at large and the people in it through explosions. The other channeled all the extent of his studies, knowledge, and mastery of the arcane arts into interacting with the world at large and the people in it through lightning bolts.
