[In a rare moment of using video on purpose, there's Jayce. To those who know him, he looks the same as he always does. To those who don't- he's an early 30's man with seemingly a permanent five-o-clock shadow, bright golden eyes, and perfectly coiffed hair. The background is out of focus, but to those who know it, it's clearly a part of S.T.A.R. labs. Normally a little more jovial or at least less serious sounding, Jayce looks into the camera like he's giving a press release.]
Weâve got about forty-eight hours or less until Aurora allows that toxin into Etraya. Which means if you havenât started taking precautions already; start now. Get easily carried food, medical supplies, whatever you think you'd need. Better to be over-prepared than under.
Considering what Aurora's told us about the "mission"... If youâre someone prone to having weapons, do us all a favor and throw them into one of our many, lovely lakes, before you wind up using it on someone else. Or, if youâre going to be touchy about it, let me know, Iâll talk with Harold about how we can get them locked up somewhere for the missionâs duration.
As a reminder to those who donât want to think about it, and maybe new information to those who are new: if you die here, for whatever reason, you lose something. I donât know what, you wonât know what, and you might not even know what it is youâve lost even after youâve lost it. Maybe itâs an eye, maybe itâs the memory of your best friend. Either way, whatever you're afraid of by not having your weapons on you isnât worth what youâll be making someone else lose because of your bad decisions.
If you have any special concerns, worries about any specific denizens in this upcoming mission, now's also the time to voice it.

[He says this plainly, continuing on with ease.]
Food, water, and so forth. Then, 'twould be a matter of securing a location to house them, locking them inâseparatelyâand everyone else out. Should they want for company, the network should suffice, as I do not believe Aurora stated 'twould be defunct during the mission. Once normalcy has been restored, they could then be set free from their temporary sanctuary. The only real concern being what harm they might have done to themselves... which is a threat all will face regardless of their state of isolation.
While I do not claim such to be a pleasant alternative, it would protect them from others at the very least, and could mitigate unintended murders.

[Meanwhile, Jayce off camera.]

[Emet-Selch doesn't know if Jayce is going to attempt this, but if he's truly looking for any alternative, no reason not to speak on this.]
Though, boards are perhaps unreliable. If you have the means to bar the windows, that may better serve you.

[The mask of pretending he's not interested in doing this is slipping a little.]
... What a crazy idea!

Crazy circumstances demand crazy solutions. Admittedly, it would be quite a race against the clock to get anything of this sort done ere our mission begins, but if one were particularly determined...

[He's literally on his way to the store right now.]

[For a moment he considers offering his assstance. For a mere, foolish second. But then he thinks better of it.]
Well, good luck with whichever path you seek to tread.
