I agree. [Not as vehemently as she should, maybe. One of them had a kill order out on his head and the deaths of thousands of people on his conscience. But there's a level of horror that nobody deserves. This falls under that. Nevermind that the person who did all this is maybe the closest thing she has to a friend back home.] Villains vary anyway. Same as heroes. For one of them, it was his own teammates who did this to him, after he'd already perpetuated massacres all over the country. For the other, he was just a gang hitman. Hardly proportionate.

[Her father is a better man than all of the Triumvirate put together though, and he's a crimelord and a cell block gang leader. Which says far less about him and far more about the so-called greatest and most iconic heroes of America.]

What exactly were they trying to achieve, anyway? Increasing their powers for the sake of it? Or did they have a goal?
