(A day later, those who hadn't replied to it with the 'X' but replied with a 'Y' and people she knows will receive a sultry, raspy voice in their brain. There's some static with it, unfortunately, her powers have been glitchy since they returned from The War.)

/Hi. It's Sophie, you know, Cuckoo. Sorry for the brain static, blame Aurora for letting that vent open in the first place, but that aside, if you are hearing me, it's because of that post, and this is important.

I don't trust Aurora, and I'm sure plenty of you don't either; that's why we are talking here. I scanned the whole place from top to bottom. Scylla actually did leave, so that is confirmed. If any of you had contact with Scylla and would be willing to let me take a look at it, please let me know so I can keep a record. I'm also sure he's a telepath like me, so I want to make sure everyone who has met him has their brain in place.

Also, if anyone knows how I can reach him, that'd be fantastic. I'd probably come back with at least something to report. I asked Aurora if she could pass down a message, but again, I don't trust her to do it, or with anything, really.

So, yeah, remember that thing I keep talking about, community being important and stuff? Let's get on that. Also, ugh, do me a favor and pass the word to the cowards who responded with an 'X'. Also, to respond to me, just think, man, start with my name, so I can actually filter you guys. And don't talk out loud. You guys just look weird when you do that./

(Platform boots step onto the ranch, extremely carefully not to get too much dirt on them, although seemingly effortlessly. The girl who wears it sports long hair to her waist in a ponytail, high-wasted black jeans, a cropped top, and cardigan, blue eyes hiding behind a pair of oversized sunglasses.

She's looking, tiptoeing to find a blonde head of hair — X means she doesn't check his specific location, either.)

Cloud? It's Sophie Cuckoo.

[At first, the only 'blondes' Sophie sees are the several yellow chocobos grazing in the corral. But once she calls out, Cloud emerges from the barn in jeans, work boots, and a black tank top. His hair is, indeed, blond, and looks alarmingly similar to the yellow chocobos' feather crests, if one were to make the comparison.

He gives her a little wave to get her attention as he makes his way over there.]

Hey.

(She's not gonna shake his hand, God knows where it's been in a farm, with all due respect.)

The farm, really? Do you live in it?

[Cloud doesn't do 'shaking hands' anyway and doesn't offer, so it's win-win.]

It's a ranch. And I live in the house.

[His tone is flat and he gestures with his chin across the field where the big farmhouse stands opposite the barn.

He sets a hand on his hip.]

So what's the deal?

(Her eyes can't roll further into her skull, so a baseline meangirl will do.)

The deal is, did you meet Scylla? Do you know anything about him?

[It's Cloud's turn to roll his eyes. Semantics, his ass. It's not like he's living among the chocobos or something!

He shakes his head.]

Nope. Who's Scylla?

(Fight her.)

An asshole who seems to be a telepath like me who went around causing trouble during the fog. I want to know as much as I can about him, kinda keep a catalogue, and I just don't trust Echo or Aurora to talk about these things in the open.

Cloud nods along, brow furrowed.]

Good call. What kind of trouble? He new here?

He isn't even here. I got his psychic signature since he dropped by a few friends of mine, and then I scanned Etraya. Nope, nothing, same people that were here prior to the fog.

[nimbuster]

Not one of us?

[That is troubling. With each other, at least, they know they're all after the same thing in the end. They have reasons to coexist in peace and cooperate. But if this Scylla isn't in the same boat, who knows what he might want or do?]

Took off before it all cleared up to cover his tracks, I'm guessing. But you think he'll be back.

[A statement, not a question - she wouldn't be doing all this if she didn't.]

Anything stand out about him that I might recognize if I see him?
