Chirper

CHIRPER

Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:
  • Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
  • When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
  • Characters can either like or dislike others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
  • This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
  • For those who do post a top level, CHIRPER profiles are worth five extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These five extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.
This month there is a special 👻 SPOOKY SEASON 👻 addition: instead of ✓ or ✕ for like or dislike, it's 🎃 and 💀. Whatever the character has the most votes for shows up appended to their username on the network for the next month, as in, un: aurora 💀.

Please feel free to switch out any of the Q&A questions with those listed here!

**This is a fixed version of the code, sorry about that!

Now that you mention it, I should have included that beautiful portrait that the Academy had commissioned. The one the paper published with that glowing article about him.

Oh, I remember the article. He flushed for weeks afterward when someone brought it up.

Red as a rose. I clipped it and put it on my kitchen wall, you know.
trebuchim: (05540)

[personal profile] trebuchim 2025-10-13 06:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah? I clipped it out and put in on his workspace at the academy so he saw it the first thing he came in one morning. I think Lucien got blamed for it.

[personal profile] cache_coeur 2025-10-13 06:16 pm (UTC)(link)
You think? You didn't throw yourself upon the sword to save him?

[personal profile] trebuchim 2025-10-13 06:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course not. The perfect prank is the one nobody can pin on you.

[personal profile] cache_coeur 2025-10-13 06:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Has anyone ever told you that you're the perfect woman?
trebuchim: (05517)

[personal profile] trebuchim 2025-10-13 07:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Is that my tagline if you decide it's ever my turn to be in Gustave's place?
cache_coeur: <user name=megascopes> (I will not ask you neither should you)

[personal profile] cache_coeur 2025-10-13 07:02 pm (UTC)(link)
You'll have to find out, won't you? But then again, you're easier to fluster in private.
trebuchim: (29800)

[personal profile] trebuchim 2025-10-13 07:17 pm (UTC)(link)
That's probably true.
cache_coeur: <user name=sonea> (and the dew of precious things)

[personal profile] cache_coeur 2025-10-13 07:19 pm (UTC)(link)
What do you think my chances are? 9 in 10? Or is this better expressed as a percentage?
trebuchim: (23124)

[personal profile] trebuchim 2025-10-13 07:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I've always appreciated the opportunities in a fifty-fifty percent divide. You never know what might happen.

[personal profile] cache_coeur 2025-10-13 09:39 pm (UTC)(link)
So what you're saying is that I should try both privately and in public.
trebuchim: (84240)

[personal profile] trebuchim 2025-10-14 11:05 am (UTC)(link)
Not exactly what I meant, but I have a feeling you'll go ahead regardless.

[personal profile] cache_coeur 2025-10-15 09:49 pm (UTC)(link)
You know me.
demainvient: (226)

[personal profile] demainvient 2025-10-13 06:28 pm (UTC)(link)
That was you? I should have known.

Not that Luicien let me live it down for weeks.
trebuchim: (42356)

[personal profile] trebuchim 2025-10-13 07:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Guilty. Sorry.

You know, it wasn't really that bad. The article.
demainvient: (Y142)

[personal profile] demainvient 2025-10-13 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
It was much too over the top.

[ Personally, he thinks at least part of it had to do with the sway Sophie held at the newspaper offices. ]

I know they were looking for anything that might give people some hope, but I wish they'd focused more on the rest of the team.
trebuchim: (42322)

[personal profile] trebuchim 2025-10-13 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, you know how newspapers are. More fluff than fact, on most days.

I know you do. But it's only natural they'd fixate on the Lumina tech, and you. It's an incredible achievement and it wouldn't exist without you.

Besides. A picture of a handsome face sells well.
demainvient: (005)

[personal profile] demainvient 2025-10-13 07:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Don't you start, too.

[ What was that about missing flirtation— ]

Besides, if that was the goal, they'd have done better featuring you or Lucien.
trebuchim: (84236)

[personal profile] trebuchim 2025-10-13 07:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, Gustave, you're very handsome. Make note for once that I'm saying this as a fact.

[ She has to laugh, though. He really is something... ]

I'm not likeable and Lucien didn't always come across as responsible. But you were the perfect blend of responsibility and likeability— with the looks to match.
demainvient: (018)

[personal profile] demainvient 2025-10-13 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm pretty sure you're saying it just to join in on teasing me, but I'll take the compliment and be grateful, whatever the provenance.

And I have to disagree with your other assessment, too: sorry to inform you that you've always been very likable. You think I never heard stories from Tristan?
trebuchim: (42346)

[personal profile] trebuchim 2025-10-14 11:44 am (UTC)(link)
Fine— I guess that's the best I can expect. [ Oh, Gustave. You beautiful, clueless man, you. ]

Tristan was always inclined to skew toward the positive.
