CHIRPER

Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:
  • Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
  • When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
  • Characters can either like or dislike others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
  • This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
  • For those who do post a top level, CHIRPER profiles are worth five extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These five extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.
This month there is a special 👻 SPOOKY SEASON 👻 addition: instead of ✓ or ✕ for like or dislike, it's 🎃 and 💀. Whatever the character has the most votes for shows up appended to their username on the network for the next month, as in, un: aurora 💀.

[ Aha! Well Gaia's not going to let it bother her. Maybe a little disappointed but it happens here. ]

Well, it's nice to meet you for the first time again then. As a matter of fact, it was. Or at least it sounds that way. Perhaps you met Popp or Sephiroth?

[ Her tone becomes a trace downcast. ]

Though Popp's no longer here. Hopefully he's doing well.

[ Well anyway! While enough time's given for an answer, the teen will move on briskly. ]

What.... why in the world would you want to do that?

[ She sounds very taken aback at the description. Quick, someone get this girl a primer on spooky season and why people dress up like creepy monsters! ]

[ So it does. Rosie has seen people leave and come back with no memory, but Popp was the first person to seemingly recognize her from another reality... ]

Popp! That's right. Oh, I- Dang. I didn't realize he was already gone? It happens here, I know, but it always feels like sometimes you blink and someone's just... missing. [ She's been grateful for the people who have remained consistent in her life here at least. They don't really have any say, but it has been nice while its lasted. ]

Ha! I don't actually want to, like, choke anyone. They're just scary ghost ladies! That's kind of the whole point of Halloween? To spook people! It's all in good fun though, mostly. [ Actual Kejoro would definitely murder someone, but Rosie has no such desire to. ]

It's alright. I plan to see him one day again.

[ There's a determined sound to her voice. Why should she limit herself to the belief that ascians can travel between a certain set of world reflections?!

Of course she knows she might not succeed but that isn't going to stop her from trying. ]

Oh! [ Realization seems to dawn. ] Halloween.... so is that a holiday? A festival? I've never heard of anything like that.

I hope you get to! I don't know how that's all gonna' work, honestly, but... I hope we can all see each other again someday. [ Somehow. If there's another her out there though, it kind of does give her hope she might be able to go other places.

Then it's just a matter of... Well, that's a lot to ask. Of anyone. ]

It's a holiday, yeah! It originated as, like, a celebration of the 'harvest moon' or something. But in my time, it's just an excuse to dress up in spooky, fun costumes and for kids to go trick or treating.

[ It's weird to think there's another 'you' out there. Sometimes in the same place! Well, for too long anyway. So Gaia doesn't really talk further about it. Best to focus on getting to know this Rosie as she is. Or rather, however this conversation works out! ]

Oh, huh. [ She pauses in thought. ] Is that what the 'trick or treat' question was about? What is trick or treating supposed to be, actually?

[ She has suspicions that it has many definitions. ]
