CHIRPER
Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:

• Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
• When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
• Characters can either like or dislike others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
• This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
• For those who do post a top level, CHIRPER profiles are worth five extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These five extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

This month there is a special 👻 SPOOKY SEASON 👻 addition: instead of ✓ or ✕ for like or dislike, it's 🎃 and 💀. Whatever the character has the most votes for shows up appended to their username on the network for the next month, as in, un: aurora 💀.

Like I can’t find my own way to Corrine’s. You see me nearly every day. What’s your point?

[Cid doesn’t hang up in time to spare Clive his grousing.]

Why would the muffins be optional? That’s the reason I’m going to see you—

[Cid heads over on horseback. As much as he preferred walking, he couldn’t deny how he enjoyed the speed of it all. So he’s there pretty fast, the hooves of his beast sparking as he dismounts and heads inside. He lights a cigarillo if no one stops him and comes right up to Clive.]

You could just call me next time.

[That’s okay, Clive enjoys Cid’s grousing (most of the time).

Clive waits patiently, leaning against a wall near the front gates of the monastery proper. He had been planning to wait until they were inside before grabbing the man, but seeing him wind swept and striding forward like the very ground he walked on should be grateful for his presence had desire running down his spine like wildfire.]

Sometimes I just can’t resist teasing you.

[He pushes himself off the wall, grabs Cid by the belt, pulls him close, and wastes absolutely no time in feeding his desire into a hungry kiss.

The things this man did to him…]

[He’s not used to being kissed like this while sober. He chuckles awkwardly into the kiss, allowing it, but bracing Clive’s shoulder as it intensifies.]

Miss me? [Said sardonically, but… ]

[herofhopeless]

[If the awkward chuckle wasn't sign enough, the hand on his shoulder is. Clive dials it back, ending the kiss with one last lingering press of his lips. He doesn't pull away, but he does rest his hand on Cid's hip instead of holding him forcibly by the belt.]

Mmm, maybe a little.

[Fighting the urge to close the small distance between their lips again is an uphill battle and he's pretty sure it shows.]

I'd definitely rather have you than muffins right now.

[levindicated]

Maybe you should have invited me home instead, eh? [As he gives him an incredulous raise of the brows.]

Never would have taken you for such a loose man. Well, I’d rather have the muffin to start.

[He gives the other man’s shoulder a reassuring squeeze.]

And I never thought you a shy one.

[Clive squeezes Cid's hip before stepping out from under his hand.]

C'mon. The siren song of muffins calls.

[Clive does, however, get distracted by greeting Cid's horse. Everything about him turns gentle as he lets the animal sniff at him. He may or may not whisper something about a treat later before stepping away and looking back at Cid.]

You coming?

[levindicated]

[Cid huffs a laugh as Clive squeezes him. Honestly, he’d changed so much that he still wasn’t used to it.]

Of course.

[As he sees himself into the establishment. It’d been a while since he’d been here. He was more likely to drink coffee these days and eat elsewhere, but he remembers when he’d first arrived and everyone was making bead bracelets… He gets caught in the memory for a moment as he goes up to the counter to order.]

A pumpkin latte, then? That’s what that advertisement was for? What are you getting?

[herofhopeless]

[There had been many things he had missed about Cid, but his laugh was damn near the top of the list. He can’t help how he smiles as he watches Cid do something as mundane as order a coffee. He holds Cid’s gaze for a moment before turning to the counter.]

A cortado and a pumpkin muffin, please.

[Once they have their orders, Clive takes them to a small table out of the way of the main thoroughfare. Without thinking, Clive pulls out the chair for Cid before going to sit in his own. He makes busy cutting the muffin in half while Cid sits.]
