Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:

• Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
• When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
• Characters can either like or dislike others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
• This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
• For those who do post a top level, CHIRPER profiles are worth five extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These five extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

This month there is a special 👻 SPOOKY SEASON 👻 addition: instead of ✓ or ✕ for like or dislike, it's 🎃 and 💀. Whatever the character has the most votes for shows up appended to their username on the network for the next month, as in, un: aurora 💀.

In some cases, forgetting would be for the best.

I've a suspicion that clothing wouldn't fit.

You make a compelling point, you are twice the man Cidolfus is. Perhaps you are better off going for Cid the Outlaw #2. You would be a sight to behold in such a top.

I'm uncertain of that. [ He doesn't specify which statement, for really, it's both. ] But Clive has requested that I do so, thus it seems the notion amuses.

I assure you there is a better word than "amuse" for the situation. One can hardly go wrong in witnessing a beautiful man such as yourself spilling out of a tight fitting top such as that.

[Undeterred, but still a little nervous. When last he flirted it did not go well.]

[After a moment or three Sleipnir thinks he has once more greatly offended him and sits there fretting on Dion's Chirper page... until the ping comes in. He restrains himself from jumping up and letting out a delighted laugh, but only just so.]

Then I confess you're the first who hasn't expressed being liable to laugh at the sight.

Clearly you have only spoken to dullards and the blind. Or perhaps they are not interested in men? Either way, I should very much like to see you dressed in such, although I think the dark purple of the first Outlaw's costume would look better on you... Maybe we could find lace up leather top in that color.

I would not say this of them.

[ He understands the absurity of it, really. ]

As for the color, I'm yet uncertain whether it would suit me.

You don't speak ill much of anyone so this is not so reassuring. But in the case where you may be correct: they lack vision and do not understand art and beauty.

[Honestly!! Who in their right mind would not want to see Dion in Clive's top?? Baffles the mind.]

How very convenient that I own of several articles of clothing in this color. You may try them on, if you wish, to see how it looks on yourself.

I do when I deem it appropriate. 'Tis not the fashion in my homeland, so admittedly I have doubts.

Now we have moved on to your apparel?

[ He would never have expected anyone to be that interested in hin wearing different apparel. ]

I have seen plenty Sanbrequios speak ill of others, although I think that to be an abominable fashion. Or perhaps you meant the style of Clive's garb? There is only one way to find out if the fit serves. I would be happy to judge.

And why should we not? We are discussing what might look good on you, and I recall your attire has some frill to it... Several of my clothes so too have such, although it is adorned around the neck and chest. I believe you saw me in such when I visited your kitchen...

[There is a yawning gap when thinking about that visit, but Sleipnir holds fast to the memory of Dion's kindness, or the child's squishy toy, and to the taste of the apple tea to ground himself.]

You may have simply met the wrong Sanbreqois then. That is far from repesentative of the entire population.

I have indeed seen your apparel, as well as your armor. The frill you speak of is the fashion in my homeland, though I confess I've seen little of the fashion sensibilities of yours in the course of one battle or another.

If you are certain. I grant you that you are the more likely of us to know your people. But this also makes you biased.

[And Sleipnir loves them not.]

One can hardly catch a glimpse of such things through the muck and the bloodshed. Regardless, of Waloeder clothing my wardrobe here only has the one I had been wearing at the time of arrival. Everything else was purchased on Earth and little there resembled either of our countries.

I do not deny that. But I would say the upper nobility are the sort of which you speak, not the whole of the nation.

I had thought more about the armor I tended to see. Yours I would know from Odin's legions, for that is what I would tend to see. Yet indeed, it seems neither nation's fashion is the fashion around here. Yet I still prefer the style of my own clothing. There too is bias.

[This does not seem like a comment that should be made next to fashion choices, as so Sleipnir will leave that topic lie. This one is a personal sting and he isn't sure how he'll respond if Dion chooses to deny it. That makes Sleipnir uncomfortable.]

Yet I was no better than my people, in my ignorance. That I had known no other way does not lessen my faults.

[ The normalization of an injustice does not make it less of one, only harder to see. Dion had been complicit, for though he treated Bearers under his command with greater consideration than those around him, they still had been chattel in the Empire. Ensuring they ate and rested, for he knew the heavy toll fatigue would exact on any who channeled aether, hardly erased this.

While he too belonged to his nation, his had been a privileged position. ]
