Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:

Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
Characters can either like or dislike others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
For those who do post a top level, CHIRPER profiles are worth five extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These five extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

This month there is a special 👻 SPOOKY SEASON 👻 addition: instead of ✓ or ✕ for like or dislike, it's 🎃 and 💀. Whatever the character has the most votes for shows up appended to their username on the network for the next month, as in, un: aurora 💀.

You do not get to choose how people grieve, Vax. They will do it because they love you, not because you ask them to.

You could disappear quietly, but the world would not stay quiet for long. Vex would fill the silence just to keep it from hurting. Keyleth would turn it into wind and song. Grog would lift a drink and make it into a legend. Pike would light candles until the whole temple glowed. And Scanlan-Scanlan would turn the entire affair into a festival, loud enough to wake the gods. He would write something utterly inappropriate, perform it in questionable clothing, and make everyone laugh through their tears.

That is what love does. It refuses to stay solemn.

As for me, when my time comes, I do not want a sober funeral. I want Whitestone alive and bright. I want people drunk and happy. Let them dance. Let them tell every humiliating story they remember about me. Let Scanlan play until his hands ache and his voice cracks. Let Grog shout the toasts. Let Vex roll her eyes but stay until morning.

I will take the grief with me. That is part of the deal. If I can leave them lighter than I was, then I have done something right.

If they remember me, let it be with a smile and a song. Nothing else.
