Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:

Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
Characters can either like or dislike others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
For those who do post a top level, CHIRPER profiles are worth five extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These five extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

This month there is a special 👻 SPOOKY SEASON 👻 addition: instead of ✓ or ✕ for like or dislike, it's 🎃 and 💀. Whatever the character has the most votes for shows up appended to their username on the network for the next month, as in, un: aurora 💀.

The array of human motives is vast and varied and all too often we are ignorant of even our own. Not that I can state for certain that's what's happening here, but I have a suspicion. Mr. Bossie comes from a particularly brutal world, and I don't say that lightly. I'm endeavoring to help him acclimate to less cruel circumstances.

A lot of people here are from shitty worlds. If that's what's going on, then it takes a special kind of selfish for a goddamn adult to try and use a kid he doesn't even know as a tool to hurt himself.

[He can be understanding of wanting people to think the worst of you, and he can also be really, really frustrated that some adult was manipulating him.

I agree entirely. I expect a much higher standard of behavior and have informed him of that. If he bothers you again then I will handle it.

Please keep this to yourself -- I'm sharing this with you because I trust your discretion and I think it will make you more inclined to tolerate any future instigation -- but he and his compatriot, Mr. Carver, are used to a strict hierarchical command structure and extreme violence. Frankly, it's a cult. I assessed early on that I would rather provide that structure myself than risk the alternatives. I'm not entirely comfortable with it, but I'll use it if I must.

[What in the goddamn hell did he just read? He reads through it a second time, taking another second or two to process the fact that Harold has, apparently, positioned himself as the equivalent of a cult leader in order to provide structure to two adults, one of whom just has just proven himself to be a huge asshole.]

A cult? You're ordering around two people who are in a cult? What are the alternatives? Isn't that a risk to you?

I'm not doing a tremendous amount of ordering, for the record. The alternatives are that they find someone else who is not me or they decompensate to the point that they revert to desperate survival strategies with potentially dire ramifications. As for risk, mostly they seem to be concerned with ensuring I have food.

They are, but I think at this point not to me. So please don't. If something goes awry it will be bound to be a delicate situation. I won't say I have things perfectly in hand, but they deserve a chance.

[It's hard handling his feelings, particularly given the day he's been having. He doesn't want to see Harold get hurt, but he also trusts him a lot. He's one of the few competent adults around, plus he has John and Shaw to back him up if needed.]

He didn't give me a reason for the warning. I think he's serious about it, though.

[ Harold has plenty of screenshots of him doing that, and there was a convenient network post a while back where Cid was asking who he was, and got a plethora of answers all saying Robin. ]

Same one. I told him to leave those alone, so hopefully he will.

[ Who knows on that one! But... it does make him a credible source of information if he's giving out warnings. Anyone who both notices and cares about his cameras enough to keep taking them down is likely to have a lot of information sources of his own. ]

[ Harold tries to find a way to say that he's a good person that Accelerator will accept, and can't. Touching that whole subject at all is bound to be exhausting. But he can still say something. ]
