CHIRPER

Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:
  • Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
  • When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
  • Characters can either like or dislike others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
  • This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
  • For those who do post a top level, CHIRPER profiles are worth five extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These five extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.
This month there is a special ๐Ÿ‘ป SPOOKY SEASON ๐Ÿ‘ป addition: instead of โœ“ or โœ• for like or dislike, it's ๐ŸŽƒ and ๐Ÿ’€. Whatever the character has the most votes for shows up appended to their username on the network for the next month, as in, un: aurora ๐Ÿ’€.

Please feel free to switch out any of the Q&A questions with those listed here!

**This is a fixed version of the code, sorry about that!

[That's a question, isn't it? A while ago he would have answered 'yes' but he's trying to think his answers through before he makes them.]

As a god, my duty is to vanquish demons and protect humans. Until the creation of the Sword Formation, humans had lived in fear of demons both for how ruthless and powerful they were.

That sounds like the monsters where I lived before. Until they found the frequency they were looking for, humans lived in fear of monsters and other wildlife as well.

I don't know about the monsters where you're from, but I don't know if demons are looking for anything in particular. Not most of them anyway. Some of them were humans that had chosen to become demons and, at least for one of them, I can sympathize with the things that drove them to it even if I cannot condone it.

Why were they looking for this frequency?

The monsters where I'm from were acting mainly on instinct, I think. They all ate people.

Finding the correct frequency allowed the magnetic field they made to protect everyone. So they were safe from the sun, but also from infection, from the monsters.

Then I don't think they're that similar.

[Those are a lot of words he didn't know. But maybe a magnetic field was like an array...?]

The Sword Formation didn't do that much but it could destroy a demon in a second when activated. It had allowed humans to run demons out of Jiu Zhou.

Why did they need protection from the sun?

The Simpson Cage could destroy anything that touched it immediately when activated. It wasn't originally made to do that though, so it isn't very large.

I was told that the world used to have its own magnetic field. When it disappeared, exposure to the sun caused many people to die, and many animals to mutate. I think you are the first rabbit I ever saw.

[Again: Those are a lot of words he didn't know and concepts that are very unfamiliar.]

I didn't realize the sun could do that.
