CHIRPER
Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:

• Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
• When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
• Characters can either like or dislike others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
• This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
• For those who do post a top level, CHIRPER profiles are worth five extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These five extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

This month there is a special 👻 SPOOKY SEASON 👻 addition: instead of ✓ or ✕ for like or dislike, it's 🎃 and 💀. Whatever the character has the most votes for shows up appended to their username on the network for the next month, as in, un: aurora 💀.

I hate to shift the topic away from the many ways in which you clearly excel, but I can't help but be curious. Are your parents in a relationship? With each other? Are they married?

No. They never were.

I used to think nearly all of us were the unplanned results of short-term trysts, at worst unwanted and unwelcome, at best trinkets to be thrown aside when our elven parent grew bored of us.

I met my parents recently. So I wondered about yours, that's all.

What are your parents like?

My parents wanted me. They wanted more children after me, too, but... circumstances got in the way.

My mother's old now, and she isn't well. But my father's still by her side.

[ Vax smiles at reading that, but he's also a little confused. ]

But you were not with them in that memory I saw. When they took you to that altar. And that man from your vision, he turned into a wolf-like creature. That was not your father, was it?

It's a lot to explain. More than I'd like to, where others might read.

But yes, that was him. He's a werewolf. And believe me, I was as shocked as anybody when I first learned that.

An elf who is also a werewolf? I've never heard of such a thing. Either way, it still sounds like your father is a better man than mine.

Maybe we can talk in person soon, if you'd like to.

I would like that. I feel we've never really spent time together in anything other than dire circumstances.

[Shadowheart is there waiting for Vax, idly tossing a stick for Scratch, waiting for him to bring it back so she can toss it again. It's a repetitive game, but she enjoys it. Of course, every time the big white dog brings the stick back to her, it's a little wetter with drool, which she enjoys less and less as the game goes on.

As Scratch brings the stick back one more time, she takes it out of his mouth and watches a glob of saliva slide off the end of it. He's given it a good gnawing, too; it looks just about ready to break into pieces.]

We'll look for a new stick for you on the walk. Alright, boy?
